I'm a huge history buff and sci-fi person. Opposite ends, I know, I guess it shows the diversity that is me. Or Maybe I'm just a bit odd. Haha. All good either way. I guess I would be cosidered a 'deep thinker'. Engaging the whys and hows and imagining different possibilities is interesting to me. I'm not a complex person, just busy. :). Meet men and women from United States. Allow me to begin by asking are you looking for a world traveler, someone whose annual salary is deep in the six figures, runs marathons and climbs 14ers? If you answered yes to any of these than stop now and press the back button because I’m not your man. If however you are looking for a man who enjoys the company of good people, treats everyone with the same respect he would want, still believes in opening the door for a woman and always tries to take the time to not just hear but also listen. Than maybe we have something in common.
I tend to become entrenched in my day-to-day activities and not allow time to just enjoy the day. My hope is to find someone to join me in breaking the cycle and help discover the wonders that each new day holds. As with anyone who has traveled the path we call life for over five decades, I have experienced numerous events many truly wonderful, others extremely painful all of which I choose to consider growth opportunities.
Road trips and the adventure that accompanies them afford me a means to break the cycle. Meeting interesting people, seeing new places while exploring the road not yet traveled or experiencing the comfort gained by returning to an old familiar place. Anything from a few hours to a few weeks works, the more spontaneous the better.
Some of my current interests are classic muscle cars, great for road trips, woodworking and discovering today’s opportunities. At best I have a casual interest in professional sports if I watch any I prefer college football or going to a local track on Saturday night. But have been told by many that my perspective will change if I go see a game or two live. Always being willing to try something new maybe it's time to try the experience.
I attempt to enjoy all types of music but have to admit I don’t get some of it. Going out to dinner, live shows, car shows and racing events are a few things that have brought me pleasure. My favorite times of the day are spent sitting on the deck watching the sunrise or sunset.
I’m always open to exploring new areas and activities. I’m rediscovering the journey is half the fun, you don’t know what you like until you try.
