I love everything about the rual way of life and would never imagine living anywhere else. I have a passion for agriculture and would like to find someone who has the same, but that is not a deal breaker. Someone who love to spend time outdoors in all kinds of conditions, life is an adventure live it!
I am adadment about saving money every month and living below my means. If you cannot resist shopping all the time, spending money you don't have, trying to impress other people with expensive clothes or racking up credit card bills I don't want to have anything to do with you. I know that is harsh, but that is a deal breaker for sure. I also treat myself and set aside money every month for fun activites to do, so I am not a complete stick in the mud.
For right now, with my current situation. I am looking for friends, with more later. So I am not looking to fall into the Ring of fire too quickly here. I have an infant daughter living in Kansas city area and go back to visit monthly. She is 6 monthes old as of the end of July. There is a chance I possibly maybe moving to northeast Kansas to get to spend more time with her, so she gets to know her father- ME. Her mother and I are cordial most of the time and get along. You maybe scared at the status of currently seperated, but the divorce is close to final as of late July. Again, I am looking for friends with more possible later.
My life is also an open book. I sometimes give out too much information about myself of my experiences. Sometimes I have to hold my tongue. I like to ask a lot of questions and are generally interested in people and what they have to say.
I enjoy reading and keeping up on politics. I describe myself as a Libertarian/Republican hybrid. I am not a fan of our current President, but do respect the man regardless of his poltical beliefs.
I love to laugh and make people laugh. I think it is very important to have a sense of humor whatever is going on in your life. John Prine, an amazing song-writer and musician would always be able to find humor in his life no matter what was going on. I look up to the man in that regard. He wrote hit songs for Bonnie Riatt, George Strait and David allan Coe.
I love music. Mainly listen to Country and Rock. Anything from Waylon, Wade Bowen, Merle Haggard, John Prine, Gary Allan, Radney Foster, Alan Jackson to The Eagles, Tom Petty, Steve Earle, John Hiatt, Bruce Springsteen. Too many to list..Would like to find someone who has at least some of the similar tastes. I have at least 600 cds in my collection. I use to go to concerts often, I usually go to at about 3-4 a year now.
I care about my health and would hope my date/partner would also. I do treat myself to junk food occassionally, drink beer and wine occassionally, but love to eat mexican food, steak, pork, chicken, salads, whole milk, okra, avocados, blueberries, lamb roast, eggs, fish, yogurt, cucumbers, asparagus, radishes, etc. You get the idea.
I am looking for someone who is active and likes to be outside. I like to talk and have conversations, someone who is outgoing always helps, but not a deal breaker. I like to laugh, so a sense a humor is a must as you can tell from some of my pictures, I have an odd sense of humor at times. I need someone that understands that the ag industry is not a 9 to 5 job. There are times I maybe at home all week in January, but still do inside work and work 60 hours a week in June and get home late. I don't want someone who has to go to the city every week either. Doesnt mean we never go to the city. I enjoy it myself occassionally.
In some ways I am not your typical guy. I generally don't follow sports much, rarely watch tv and rufuse to the use the word "chick" to describe a woman. A chick is a young hen or rooster in my world.
