Date men and women from United States / Colorado / Boulder, 30 year old

Date a soulmate from Boulder, United States. Hi. I'm open-minded, adventurous, thoughtful and curious. I'm passionate about my relationships with friends and family, social justice, environmental issues, good food and good beer :) I'm good at making the most out of any situation, and I like doing hot yoga, hiking, camping, traveling, watching movies and docs, and just having a fun time in general. I'm up for almost any adventure, like pasture golf in Glendo, Wyoming, and I'd love to visit Antarctica someday (before it melts, preferably). I also understand and appreciate most art forms, except maybe for kabuki.
In terms of relationships, I think there has to be a spark and mutual attraction, but I'd also like to be friends with my partner, and I don't know if I believe in 'dating' as our society practices it. I'd like to just get to know a person somewhat casually and let things develop naturally.
I'm not sure what else to say. I'd like to hear from you if you think you're funny and you like to experience new things.

Date a man from Boulder, United States. I'm a laid-back guy with a sense of humor ranging from sometimes corny to sometimes witty, and sometimes I'm punny. I'm originally from Massachusetts by way of Maine. I like bad weather, and my favorite designer label is LL Bean; I've been known to walk to work in freezing slush to test out new boots. I worked as an EMT in college. Now I'm an optical physicist, which means I make light behave strangely. I'm owned by two of the biggest housecats you'll ever meet. I've seen sunrise over the Atlantic, sunset over the Pacific, and a few things in between. I want to see more.
I love skiing the high country, the hiss of fresh pow, feeling the shredded snow hitting my shins. Hiking's for when I want to be far away from the works of man (except for the plane trails!), and get back in tune with myself. Right now, I'm training for the Bolder Boulder, and I'm just seeing where my feet take me.
I'm looking for someone to do cool things with, get outdoors when we're feeling energetic, stay in and watch a movie or talk about anything and everything when we're feeling lazy. Fun and low-drama is the goal.
But that's enough about me, I'd like to hear about you.

Meet men and women from Boulder, United States. Ill forego the narrative based resume and the oft repeated self comforting explaination for being on match (read; Ive been too busy with my career) in favor of the simplistic following:
1. I absolutely love fall evenings in Colorado.
2. I never have, nor will, wear a hat backwards.
3. I still haven't figured out the whole twitter hash tag thing (but I am on the facebook).
4. I wish I knew more about art history and wine.
5. Im a firm believer in trying new things and getting outside of one's comfort zone.
6. The quality of unselfishness is the greatest of virtues.
7. Two words: Vinyl collection.
8. I believe in God, and God ain't me. (to quote Steve Earle)
I'm looking for a partner in crime who is comfortable being themself and has goals but doesn't take life too seriously. A sense of humor and some spontaniety are also a huge plus.

Date someone special from Boulder, United States. I like to have a good time, work hard and usually do the right thing with situations in my life. I'm looking for someone kind and likes to laugh and not totally crazy. I promise the same in return. I can't promise that I'll turn the air off in the car in the middle of winter, but I do promise to bring you a glass of wine when you need it and make you a variety of italian dishes. Am I Italian--no I wish.

Meet single man from Boulder, United States. I fit into a lot of different categories. I'm a math nerd, a devoted dad, and a fitness nut. I've been a student for the last... I don't even want to say how long, but I am finally done. I've got a job that I love, two beautiful kids that are starting to grow up, and for the first time in a long time, free weekends. So... I'd like to find someone to spend them with. I don't have a whole lot of expectation that Match will help me find my soulmate, but I'd love to meet some people, go exploring, have some interesting conversations, and see what happens---if it is just some good friendships, I'm still game.
I'm looking for someone confident and 'tough'. I like to be challenged both physically and mentally... I have strong opinions, but if you can tell me why I'm wrong---while hauling a pack up a mountain---I'll be pretty interested to hear it.

Date a soulmate from United States. I’m going to go out on a limb here and try to write a profile that is unlike other profiles. On my end, I have gotten quite tired of reading dozens of descriptions that all seem identical, so I am going to try and save you a similar repetitious fate. Wish me luck . . .
I have essentially five identities/groups/passions that I have/hang with/pursue ardently.
First, I grew up on a horse ranch near the mountains of Colorado and am thus addicted to all things adventurous, active, and outdoors. Rock climbing and yoga are my personal passions, but anything that gets me into the mountains, onto the beach, outside, or being active keeps me balanced and happy. Fresh air and exertion are fundamental to me and I hope to find someone who values them as well.
Second, I am a scholar. I am a Ph.D. Candidate and have been teaching at Virginia Tech for the past three years. I am equally driven to publish my scholarship, to mentor the next generation of college students, and to continue to learn myself. I take pride in doing research that people outside of scholarly circles find interesting, and I would love to tell you about my work someday. This is my nerd side and it is also the quiet side of me that loves to stay home, drink wine, cuddle, and watch Netflix or listen to good music.
Third, I am a traveler. I have traveled and lived in 20 different countries so far and hope to make it 30 asap! I am socially fluent (to varying degrees) in essentially all the Latin languages. I also love to travel/road trip around the US as there are so many amazing things to see right here at home. Travel, new cultures, and unexpected experiences reenergize me. I hope to find a travel companion to join me on these adventures.
Fourth, I love to have nights out on the town, and to do it right. By this I mean that in my mid-20s I discovered that drinking or pursuing women did not have to be the sole goal of going out (its embarrassing, but at least I learned, right?). I love lounges, dive bars and happy hours for good conversation and copious laughter with fun and interesting people. I love dance clubs (all kinds) for going out properly and literally dancing all night long. When I'm into it, my energy is literally limitless. I don’t go out all the time, but when I do, I like to do it right.
Lastly, I am a devoted and committed family member. My definition of family is perhaps non-traditional in the sense that in addition to my mom, dad, brother, sister and two nephews I also consider about five of my best friends to be “family.” I would do literally anything for any one of these people. More importantly, with all of these people I continually work to communicate honestly, to be supportive emotionally, and to acknowledge when I am wrong. I am no longer afraid to put in the effort necessary to sustain and cultivate the relationships I have with the people I love.
I would love to tell you what kind of partner I am looking for, but I feel like if I had that answer, I probably wouldn’t be here. I am looking for chemistry, I am looking for passion, I am looking for drive, I am looking for compassion. At the most basic level, I suppose I am looking for a woman who smiled at least a few times at the (too many) words I wrote above and who is interested in perhaps starting a conversation with its author . . .

Meet people from United States. I'm a very simple easy going kind of guy. Some of my favorite hobbies are fly fishing for monster trout, home brewing delicious hoppy IPAs, sleeping under the stars in tents and cars. I love chopping wood in the Fall, floating down rivers on boats and tubes, giving out hugs and messin around for hours in the woods. I enjoy sitting around camp fires in the dessert, playing music with friends and family, driving around the dirt roads in the mountains and cruisin around town on my beater bike. Wading across rivers, setting up tents in the dark, tying flies, belaying, swinging a hammer, tracking little critters, throwing knives into trees and skipping rocks. I strive to find joy in the simple things in life and am looking to hang out with somebody who feels the same way.

Date a man from United States. I lead a pretty active lifestyle. If given the choice between tv or being outside, I'd choose outdoors 9 out of 10 times. Even though I grew up inaround Chicago, I'm much more of a country boy. When I'm in the city I feel like I'm just 1 more cow in the herd. It's refreshing to to live in a place like Boulder where individuality is still appreciated.
Never tried the online scene before, so I'm not sure what to expect. The most important thing I'm looking for in a relationship is chemistry...so online dating should be interesting

Meet men and women from United States. I'm an Aussie living in Colorado - been here for about a year and half, working as a producer at an advertising agency in Boulder.
I'm a fun loving, athletic, nerd, looking for an open, athletic and positive person to have adventures with.
Between the skiing, hiking, triathlons and tasty beers we've got happening here, I think I'll be sticking around for a while.

Date someone special from United States. I've been in Colorado for about two years having moved from Chicago for work. I love the mountains and doing anything outdoors. In the summer I do a lot of mountain biking and hiking. In the winter I ski and teach disabled skiers at a local ski resort. I'm a private pilot so I fly airplanes a couple times a week as a hobby. Although I'm perfectly happy staying in a watching a movie or just lounging around on the couch, once in a while I like to be spontaneous and go on a little adventure, whether it's flying myself to an airport or city I've never been to for a day, going skydiving, or taking a long ride on my motorcycle in the mountains. I'm looking for someone who has a kind, caring personality that I can have fun and try new things with, whether it's just a new friend or it leads to a long term relationship.

Meet single man from United States. Hey there. I recently moved to Boulder from Texas for my Job. I am loving it so far!
Well I'm 30 now - which sucks haaaaa. I squandered most of my 20's away doing silly things like going to school and working my ace off... but seis la vie. But now I think its time to enjoy the fruits of that labor (while still working).
I'll be honest - I am looking for someone to go have fun with. Pretty much all my friends have either gotten married, are about to get married, or taking care of babies and baby mama's - long story short it was a bleak snowboard season last year. So yeah, I'm not expecting to find my soul mate or anything, but it would be nice to find someone who shares the same interests as me. Travel is big one.
