I miss the mules. But what made growing up in the 60's that strange, not quite idylic era, we both see fondly through our rose colored filter. I now go to the Hamptons every week 'Royal Pains' is on. Most people seem to be all about living in the now, but I think that you need to apply an infinite quality to looking back, ahead or at the present.
I love movies and music, and lyrics and dialog are always popping into my mind, (recently heard songs frequent my headline) and in relation to situations. I grew up with an older sister with some extremely adorable friends, so when I heard something that they were looking for in a guy, it usually made an impression. Come to think of it, a couple of my friends had some pretty nice sisters, too! I have been learning a lot and improving my general carpentry skills the last 4 years, low-e windows last year.Now am in middle of the beginning of thoroughly remodeling kitchen, including windows and a 90 degree rotation of sink and enclosed pantry and appliance relocation. Not quite cabinet refacing, gulp! I'm still not ready to join the Devine Design team, be my Candace Olson.
This weather is making me think of other places, other times. I love summer storms, you don't get that here. I keep meaning to go back to Iowa, my ancestral home, but 103 in Keosauqua on the Des Moines River, I'll pass. Maybe September.

Meet men and women from Vista, United States. I was born in the Holland, and came to the States when I was six, military child. Started my trek as child in California but ended up in Chicagoland.
Relocated to southern Cali about a two years ago from Chicago area. Lived on my boat in beautiful San Diego for the first year here and now live in Vista during the week, "closer to my office in Inland Empire". You can usually find me on my boat for the weekends. There's nothing better than getting to that marina on Friday afternoon with the sun getting ready to fall into the Pacific, the seals barking in the distance and the calm ocean breeze whipping past your cheeks. Totally in love with the Pacific and all that it gives.
I love coming home from work to my person, cooking dinner together, opening a bottle of wine and pouring it into a nice tall thin glass, telling eachother about our day looking at eachother and grinning with happy thoughts as we chop, Wow that sounds cliche and maybe dorky, but true.
My types of music include, rock and roll, reggae, a little country, jazz and some blues, Rat Pack"blue eyes", love Jimmy Buffet, U2, Red Hot Chilis, Odel, on and on.
I'm not the loud one in the room, but they know I'm there always.
I have long hair, but it doesn't match my mannerism, I just like long hair but have been seriously contemplating chopping it off and getting a new do, I have a great job, in management get that, but being single, I tend to work to much.
I feel as comfortable dressed in a suit with the hair slicked back as I do in the ripped up jeans with the hair in the wind. I can keep em guessing.
I like to attend church but of course do not go near enough, when I do go, I go to The Rock Church in San Diego.

I am OMG guess I have to say it "52" but I can tell anyone I meet I am 42 and pass every time. I feel like I am in my thirtys still and plan on staying with that feeling. I take good care of myself within reason, and love saying I have pretty pearly whites.
