Date men and women from California, United States. I am a fun loving, intelligent woman, employed full time and financially secure. I love to frequently go adventuring in different places all over the world. I bore easily and need to be on the go more than not, but I do not have a need for others to entertain me, nor am I high maintenance in any way. Relaxation takes effort and frequently can be achieved only after climbing a glacier or riding a century on my bike. My nieces and nephews affectionately call me "crazy Aunt Dianne" because I'm always doing some new adventure that demands some level of fitness and common sense.
My day job is spent chained to a desk writing, reviewing, negotiating and ensuring legal compliance of governmental contracts. I am a firm believer that what we do for a living does not necessarily define who we are as individuals. God help me if my work defined who I am ;-).
I am very social, but don't want people around 100% of the time; I cherish my "alone" time. I have two wonderful, respectable adult children one of which is well on his own and my 20 year old "Angel sent from Heaven" will be flying the coop in September to complete her studies at UC San Diego. In the mean time she lives with me.
My match would be a man who is physically fit and enjoys that status, is easy going, seeks new adventures, likes to have fun, rides motorcycles, and is equally comfortable backpacking in the high country wilderness or dressed to the nines in a theater in San Francisco, New York or any place else. I'm very down to earth, but do enjoy the arts, good food, and great wine.
