I've been an advocate for causes to help free children from abusive situations (I was a foster parent as a young married adult in the sixties), as well as an animal advocate; (For years I fostered orphan kittens every summer for the local Humane Society during the early 21st century ... until my husband's illness took over my life, and loved every minute of doing so!)
