Meet someone special from California, United States. It is July 2012 and I am just returning to match as a subscribing member. I have not been an active member for some time. I understand that there were some men who emailed me when I was not a subscriber. If you are one of those men I apologize for not getting back to you but since I was not a subscribing member of match I was unable to do so. I did meet several nice men when I was on Match before. I am still friends with a couple of them.

I was born and raised in Louisiana and was brought to California by the prospect of working as a travel agent. Later I quit becoming a full-time mother to my wonderful daughter. I was lucky enough to be able to be a stay at home mom while my daughter was growing up but now I am looking for work outside the home. I lived in Oceanside for the past 27 years and recently moved to Temecula where I bought a house.

My friends consider me a very kind, considerate, generous and loyal person. I am sometimes on the quiet side when I first meet people but once I feel comfortable with a person I can be quite talkative. I do tend to be a hugger but I may not hug you the first time we meet.

I enjoy cooking and have been told by many people that I'm good at it. I enjoy gardening and being outdoors. I like flowers in the garden and in my house. My favorite flower is the Iris. I love going to concerts, the theater, the ballet and museums. I like many genres but my favorite would be jazz. My preferred radio stations would be kifm and kpri. I love books. I also love picnics and going for long walks (marathons). I love almost all animals (I say almost because I can't say I'm overly fond of reptiles).
Some of the things that make me smile are small children, animals, beautiful views, good food, and good music. Sometimes IРІР‚в„ўm a little goofy and I dance around the house. My daughter says IРІР‚в„ўm a little weird because I talk to animals. As for what I am most proud of, well, that would be my daughter. She has grown up to be a very beautiful person both inside and out.
I have not lied about my age and I would appreciate it if you would be honest about yours. Recently relocated from Fallbrook to Temecula, but work in Escondido.

. Life has been good. I enjoyed raising three children, all are out in the world close by and doing well. We are a close family and I definitely value family fun at holidays and birthdays and other excuses to get together. I have four grandchildren and of course they are more than special. I love spoiling them and spending time with them. I like being retired and would really like a retlationship that would develop into marriage while continuing to be best friends. I would like to do just about anything with that special person but definitely would enjoy seeing more of the world and exploring right here in the U.S. I'm excited about the future and feel that I will meet a special man that loves God just as much as I do and we will worship together and build a strong bond through a mutual Christian faith.
