A brief history of my life:
Born in Maryland to a physician father and a classical pianist mother. Youngest of three (brother is oldest, then sister,then me). Moved to Texas when I was 3 until I was 13, then WV for part of middle school and all of high school. Went to both college and grad school in Indiana, where I trained to be a counselor. After grad school lived in Pittsburgh, PA until 1996 when I visited a friend in Santa Cruz, loved it, and moved there (after finding a job). Lived in Carmel for a year after Santa Cruz and now am in the San Jose/Los Gatos area (since 2003). For work, I specialized in grief counseling for a long time but now do it just as a consultant or speaker/educator. I was in medical/pharmaceutical sales from 2000-2010 but recently made career change and am the sales director for a senior living community. I love to write creatively and humorously, love movies, working out/swimming, playing with my sweet little dog "Bodie", making dinner for friends or a special man in my life, finding great restaurants, driving down the coast, traveling, wine tasting, and simply being in the company of someone interesting and interested. :)
