I like to be active. I play on a softball team with my daughter in a co-ed league. She's a very important part of my life. She's 23 and very independent, but still loves to spend time with me.
My idea of a great date would include food and activity...be it dancing after dinner, a day hiking the mountains with a picnic lunch or a meal I cook for you followed by some live music at a near by club, park or bar.
I've been told that I'm a great cook...hungry? I specialize in fine cuisine. Food is a great ice breaker and you can learn so much by sharing a meal with someone. It can be a very intimate experience.
People would most often describe me as a person that smiles easily, is witty, understanding, very supportive, caring and warm. I see myself as kind, funny and generous. I volunteer my technical skills to help non-profit organizations. I've worked with children's hospitals, boys clubs and other organizations in need.
I listen to mostly rock music and anything from the 60's. I enjoy other types of music in the right setting. Club music has it's place and anything live is usually great. I love the mountains and the ocean...but I'm pretty at home visiting any major city.
