I'm recently divorced, but I've been separated for about a year and a half now. You see, my first impression of you is physical! We all like what we like, and for me, I am looking for a lady with a cute smile, and she should be what I like to call "sneakily sexy"! Let me elucidate: I want you to be sexy, have a great body, but you don't have to walk around scantily clad to show it off. You know how to rock a pair of jeans and sneakers as well as a cute sundress and sandals or flats. And you don't have to necessarily be slim or expertly toned to do this, but I'll say that I am not looking for my lady to be heavy. I'm not, and that's not what I want. I'm not saying that you have to be real thin either. But I'm thin, and I'm looking for someone who ranges from thin to a few extra pounds. Not real heavy. I don't mean to offend anyone, I'm just telling what I prefer, and the same goes of course for me. I'll tell you right here and now that I'm very slim, I weigh about 150lbs (155 soaked and wet:)), so if you are looking for some muscular, chiseled type of guy, then I WILL disappoint you, and I would tell you to press on in your search. Hey, I understand. We want what we want, and you have to have some type of physical attraction because it all begins from there. And THEN we move to the inner qualities...
What am I after? Who are you inside? Are you a caring person who likes rainy days? Are you a compassionate person who often puts others first? Are you emotional? Do you cry when watching certain movies, or when a story or poem you might come across touches your heart? When you love someone, do you tell them, perhaps whisper it to them in the middle of the night with the lights out and all is still? Do you call them up in the middle of the day for no reason, just to hear their voice and to tell them "I love you..."? Are you a good friend? Do you care about others, not just people that you know well, but those you don't even know? Can you be happy in almost any situation?

I am a happy person and love to laugh. I am often silly, but have a serious side too. I am sensitive, kind, caring, straight forward, and honest, but also independent, occasionally stubborn and sometimes a little ornery... I have a creative side and burn off extra energy doing anything from making a stained glass window to remodeling the kitchen. I have to admit, I watch DIY when I can't sleep...
I enjoy a full life with strong family ties, a few great friends, challenging work that I enjoy and of course as much fun as I can squeeze in.. I really lucked out and have fantastic kids! - ok, maybe I am a little biased... My two daughters are grown and my son is 10 and lives with me. I love to explore the world with them and often follow where their interests take them. I have a large and somewhat eccentric family that I go to visit when I can but my work keeps me in California most of the time. I work with pregnant and parenting teenagers and their children. As you can imagine, I have a few challenging days, but surprisingly few considering.... most days are filled with hope, joy, success, and growth. I love that I can make a difference through my work and am lucky enough to see the results.
