I was born and raised in the South, but my adventurous spirit has led me to California to get a bit more out of life (BOY, is that an understatement!). Date a soulmate from California, United States. Where do I start... I am very independent, self-reliant, free spirited and extremely witty (so please don't be easily offended-I joke a lot). I am musically inclined, meaning I finished music school when I was young and as a result can play the piano =). However, I ALWAYS wanted to pick up and learn the acoustic guitar-I absolutely love the sound! I like the great outdoors, animals (especially dogs and horses), sports, and international travel. I am a total and complete adrenaline junky when it comes to sports and adventure, and I usually scare people with my fearless approach to pretty much everything. This craving for adrenaline keeps me very spontaneous but I surrender to a set schedule when appropriate.
I am currently pursuing an MBA so I don't have a lot of leisure time, but for the right person I will make time. I have family all over the world and make it a point to visit them on my vacations. I moved to the US at 15 and fell in love with the weather. What's not to love! I do, however, miss the four seasons, so I try to find cool vacation destinations, especially during the winter months. Since most of the time I travel alone, it would be nice to have a travel companion who loves Europe and Latin America as much as I do =) Also, I have done very little domestic traveling so I am looking forward to exploring different States (especially the east coast). I don't want to write a whole lot about myself as getting to know one another should be a personal experience and makes for a long lasting conversation.

What to say on this?? I have a great life, but I can't take going to the bars and meeting the same type of guy over and over. I'm an ER nurse and couldn't see myself doing anything else, except maybe getting my advanced degree. I work a lot of long hours, but am always willing to make time for the people in my life. Working out and being healthy is really important to me (no, I'm not one of those obese nurses), so I hope it is to you! I laugh a lot and can come across as a smart ass sometimes...but I promise it's all in good fun! I love to read, and am always looking for suggestions for a good book. However, I wouldn't call myself a nerd, just an interest of mine.
I love my family and friends and wish I could spend more time with them. I'm up for anything-being in the outdoors, traveling, skiing, golfing, swimming, and enjoying the beach. I love finding new places to see and things to do. Having moved from the east coast, I've got a lot of new ground to cover.
