I like a woman who can go camping and get dirty without worrying about her makeup, but can also clean up for a night on the town. I want someone who has their act together, but people who take life too seriously need to lighten up and have fun. A sense of humor is important as well. If you're witty and quick with a joke, huge plus.
I love traveling, and trying new things. I'm obsessed with travel/adventure books and tend to geek out pretty hard over camera gear (I get very excited every year when Canon announces their new L-Series lenses. If you know what that means, add 10 points).
I graduated from UCSB in 2008, started working right away, realized I was not cut out for a desk job and a week later I started planning my escape from "the real world". I joined the Navy as a photojournalist in 2009 and have been stationed in Washington DC, Crete Greece, and now I'm in San Diego where I have one of the most amazing jobs ever.
