Meet someone special from San Luis Obispo, United States. Well... I signed up basically to broaden my horizons, and interact with new people I might not otherwise get the chance to meet in my typical social circles. I am generally a kind and idealistic person although I have been trained to be a discriminating and skeptical scientist. Thus I suppose am in part a dualist. (wow... that sounded waaay too nerdy; like I'm another casualty of education). Anyway, I suppose I can't turn that off anymore. I seem to be a tangential philosophical/psychological thinker by nature, and I honestly enjoy laughing at what I all too often see as the absurdity of society. I find this activity to be well suited to shots of patron, chilling in a offbeat coffee shop, or while drinking shamefully expensive french red wine late into the evening preferably next to a bonfire under the stars.
For fun, I really love wine tasting, Hiking, Traveling (I've lived on three different continents), Reading, Watching Movies, Playing Guitar, Singing, and Having late night conversations where big ideas flow easily. I'm really not here to hook up with random strangers as much as I am interested in meeting new people who I might actually have something in common with. Ideally (& I am in no way holding my breath for internet dating to be the missing piece of the puzzle), I would would love to find a romantic connection with another person where we can fascinate each other intellectually and overwhelm each other emotionally.
