So far I’ve been to the Kern River and that’s about it. I’m hoping I can find some time to do some tubing down the river. . I hate to lead off with this, but most people want to know. I am not bald due to cancer or chemo. I developed something called alopecia about 5 years ago, which caused me to lose my hair. It was tough, but I have learned to live with it and embrace it. It does get cold in the winter, but works out great in the summer.
On an extended work assignment in the area and looking for someone to share some time with. I am very much into healthy eating and healthy living. Would like to meet someone who is still young at heart and open to explore life. Not interested in couch potatoes or closed-minded people. I believe you never stop learning until you die so I try to learn something new every day and to keep an open mind about new people, things, and adventures. I became a nurse at 47 and got my BSN in 2011. Over the past 7 years I have transformed the way I eat and how I view food. I have never had a weight problem, but learned that how I was eating was not promoting optimal health. I'm learning about Chinese medicine and believe in nontraditional treatments for what ails us. I don't believe in quick fixes for anything as I believe that anything worth having is worth working for. I don't take life or people too seriously because I know life will always work out as intended. Why lose sleep over it when there are much better and more fun ways to spend my time?! I want to spend time with a man who believes in fitness and healthy eating. I love to laugh and do it easily and often.
