Date someone special from Ridgecrest, United States. I live in Ridgecrest, a small city in the high desert about 140 miles northeast of Los Angeles. I am getting close to retirement after teaching for a long time, and I would like to spend my golden years with...well,... you! I know that I live in the boondocks, and even though Ridgecrest is not quite as far away as the dark side of the moon, some folks think it is. Happily, I do own this marvelous modern invention called an automobile, and lo and behold, I even know how to drive it! So, have car.....will travel.
I'm soft-spoken but not shy. (Remember, I talk for a living!) I can carry my end of the conversation and listen with interest to yours. I have eclectic interests. My favorite outdoor activities are walking, gardening, hiking, camping, picknicking, visiting zoos and aquariums, walking along rivers, beaches, and lakes, and just going on spontaneous day trips to who-knows-where. Though it's been a long time, I can still ride a bike and play baseball. As for indoor activities, I enjoy movies, live theater, concerts, dining out (especially in mom and pop places with unique menus), dancing, working out at the gym, visiting with family and friends, reading, playing the flute and recorder, working crossword puzzles, and listening to many kinds of music. I love animals and currently have 3 rescue cats.
For me, the most attractive trait of a man is his personality. I am attracted to a man who has a sense of humor, is honest, gentle, kind, intelligent, hard-working, and who shares some or all of my interests.
