You may work and save all your money for retirement and then you might become too old or too sick to enjoy what life you do have left Life is not about how much money we leave behind. It is about the "footprints"...how much we loved...kindness...love....Times are tough for everyone now, and I live modestly, yet I am planning my next vacation because it is long over due. It may just be over to the coast or perhaps some Greek island is calling my name. Don't get me wrong, I love northern California , but I want to experience all that this life has to offer, preferably with the man I am supposed to be with. I know he is out there, and I hope he is looking for me also. Life is good, but it would be so much more fulfilling to be with my partner... holding hands and sharing a kiss at sunset. I am pretty much a "home body." I love taking care of my 5 acre ranch. Love things neat and clean but I have been known to be "grubby" at times. Last time I checked, water was still in abundance. Ha. While I enjoy being home I also love to visit new places. My hearts dream is to someday go to the southern states of the USA, with emphasis on Kentucky, since I became a horse woman. I love horses and riding but the person I may meet someday does not have to like riding, they just need to be supportive and kind and encouraging to me.
My biggest accomplishment in life has been having the pleasure of molding my two children into wonderful adults that have made a great contribution to the world. Their work is in law enforcement. My second biggest accomplishment would be learning the skill of horsemanship and horseback riding, mainly dressage during the last 12 years. I trained daily for about 5 years to learn to ride a horse correctly. Currently, my dance partner is my horse, but I hope to dance (even if it is just around the home and farm) with that special someone someday!

This summer seems to be going awfully fast. Actually the year seems to be going too fast.
Okay, about me: I have lived in this area for 30 years this year. I have two boys. One lives down the street from me and the other lives 6 hours from here. I have two little dogs that I rescued this year and they have proven to be very entertaining. I am the oldest of seven children (5 brothers/1 sister). I always look forward to what the future will hold. I find life very interesting. I am light hearted and gigglie. I really enjoy water activities. Mostly I am a homebody, but at the drop of a hat I will jump in my little car and go for a drive or trip to another state. I find this chapter of my life to be the most rewarding and carefree. I am not into the bar scene, although I like to play pool and like strawberry daiquiris. I bought all the fixins to make them and never did. I ate the strawberries and the rum and lime juice is still unopened. I would prefer not to ride motorcycles anymore ~ I want to keep my skin and body parts where they are. My idea of camping has room service, although I have my tent and cooking equipment and fishing tackle ready.
About you: Basically I would like to find a sweet gentle kind hearted man to hold hands with and maybe walk on the beach, someone that would enjoy going to the movies when a good one is playing, country drives, people watching, quiet evenings at home or sitting around talking over a cup of coffee in the morning or sitting out at night watching the night lights.. I own 2 bicycles - and I enjoy riding them both on our local trails & through my neighborhood. My boys gave me a pair of "Nordic walking poles", have tried them out, they're different, but I can see that they're a great training tool for skiing preparation. I have done Downhill skiing, but prefer CrossCountry, I would like to learn Snowshoeing. I'm really good at making Snowmen!
