I am intelligent yet always curious, drama free but have been known to get a little feisty, serious about my work but always make time for a spontaneous adventure or two, always try to see both sides of everything but fiercely protective of those I love, very strong but melt like butter in the right circumstances (usually involving kids, animals and the less fortunate), health conscious but can't pass up a greasy burger, self sufficient but always appreciate a helping hand, I will back someone up to the ends of the earth but I will also tell you flat out when you're wrong. I love to be a girl, dress up and do the town in heels but nothing makes me happier than hopping on an atv and getting muddy. In short, I suppose I am a woman of contradictions.... but doesn't that make life a little more interesting?
I absolutely believe in living each day exactly the way you want to live it because, really, who knows what will tomorrow will bring. I try to appreciate the good of each day and learn from the bad, and try to treat everyone the way I would like to be treated - life is too short for meanness.
What am I looking for in a man? Well to be honest I suppose I am a little old fashioned - I like a man's man. I like a guy who goes out with the guys, gets dirty, plays hard, fixes things. But, (here's my contradictory nature again) I also like a man who knows how to treat a woman - one who opens doors, worries if she's cold, and always always has her back and a kleenex (or a shoulder) if the need arises. The truth is I am a pretty tough person.... maybe a little hard-headed... and stubborn (man, it's rough writing about yourself, you have to be so dang honest!) and I don't want to be tamed by any means - but I would like to find someone that I respect enough to put me in my place when I need to be placed, tell me the way it is when I need to be told, and have arms strong enough to catch me when I need to fall.
I could go on and on I suppose but then there wouldn't be much to talk about or discover would there? I don't know what I expect from this - at the most a partner to share all of life's ups and downs with, at the least meeting some interesting new people that become friends. We shall see!
