Date someone special from Hancock Park, United States. I've been down in SoCal now for almost 2 years after moving here for work, but just recently moved out to the LA area. I'm still obviously learning about my new area and hoping that I can settle here for awhile because I have moved 3 times in 3 years for work and it's exhausting!
As for what I am looking for, the two most important things to me in a relationship are honesty and communication. It seems that a lot of people tell you what they think you want to hear or tell you that they are a person that they are hoping to be. Let's face it, none of us are perfect, and generally we are far from it. So please just be yourself! I also believe that a relationship can only develop in a healthy manner when people are willing to communicate. Getting to know someone means that you have to open up to them and let them into your life, as scary as that may be sometimes. But, the rewards in the end could be totally worth it.
I'm a very focused person and when I want something I will make it happen, no matter how long it takes or how much I have to sacrifice to get it. I prefer people who are driven in their lives. I don't care what you do for a living, but enjoy it & have some passion about it. That being said, I also want someone who can find that balance in their life between their work and their family/friends. I know that we can all get super busy from time to time, but if you really like someone and want to see if there is enough for a possible relationship, you have to make time for them in your life.
I would love to find someone who loves to read, travel and keep up on world events. I like to go to chill bars and lounges and just relax and chat with my friends. I also enjoy dining out and cooking at home so it would be nice if my match enjoyed those things as well. I can go from a black tie event one night to a hole in the wall club the next and fit in everywhere. I'd love to find someone who can adjust well to any situation and be comfortable with who they are. I would also like to find someone who can challenge me in my life and generally help me to be a better person, because I'm hoping I can do the same for them.
I also really enjoy sports.....whether it's watching hoop or football at home on the couch or a quick pick-up game, I'm in & may even beat you......so be prepared! I also enjoy hiking but haven't been on a good hike in quite some time, but I do hear there are a few places to go hiking in LA so it's on my list of things to check out.
