I'm most passionate about my family and friends, music, art (I paint) and being the best person I can.
My boys are my first priority, followed by taking care of myself, my dog (Black Lab) and doing a great job at work. I leave work at the office most the time, with an occasional project after hours here of there.

I eat very healthy- prefer organic, but not a complete nut about it. I drink a lot of water- no soda, no sweetened beverages other than a cup of Philz coffee in the AM. Favorite foods are Sushi, Mexican, Italian, Thai. I like to cook, but cooking for one can be a bit boring. I can make a mean rib eye steak!
Things about me : I have twin boys who are 9 and their father is very involved in parenting along with me. We share time with our boys 50/50, we're very amicable- we just didn't work after 10 years. I'm not looking for a replacement father. I'm looking for someone who understands the commitments of having children. I usually run 8 to 10 half-marathons a year, and I’ve spent time hiking various parts of the Grand Canyon each year, occasionally a little over-ambitiously! Meet a woman from Foster City, United States. I'm a 46-year-old native San Franciscan and I just moved to Foster City in May of 2012. I'm of European and Scandinavian decent and while my parents will celebrate 51 years of marriage on May 14, 2012, I have never made it down the aisle nor do I have any 2-legged children.
I have survived many of life's challenges over the years. The most recent one being stage 2 breast cancer. In doing so, I have learned to live my life without regret, as tomorrow is never promised.
I recently lost 24 lbs. I have posted a few recent photos showing what I currently look like for reference. As you can see you can rest assured that I was able to keep both my "T's ; A". Even though I had cancer, they are still all natural too! That is the good thing about catching it early.
While I enjoy spending the night on the town and the finer things in life, I am just as happy to cook dinner at home and watch a movie. I have a warm heart and I'm an honest and caring person. I am close to my family long-term friends. However, I don't let their opinions influence my decisions. I do listen to my 4-legged children's opinions as they have a very keen unique sense of being able to judge one's character. All three of my animals were rescued from shelters. As such they are grateful for having a loving place to call home.
I'm a huge music and comedy fan and I have been to a lot of concerts and comedy shows at both large and small venues. I also love to watch professional sports such as football, basketball, baseball and boxing, both at home and in person. I enjoy traveling and seeing new places and learning about different cultures.

I love to tease and joke and laugh. I’ll tease you about those disappearing brownies and about that atrocious haircut you just got but then I’m just as likely to be teasing if I was the one who ate the last few brownies (I probably won’t be laughing if the awful haircut was mine – but I’ll appreciate you mourning it with me). I love the comfort level that comes with getting to know each other well – I’m not real comfortable on first / second dates – I want to skip all those and get to where the friendship / relationship part starts up because then the “work” ends and the “fun” begins.
I think the things I’ve gone through with my divorce has made me a better person – I’m more understanding of the differences in people and can see how these differences make you “you” and not how they make you wrong. Maybe that extra 15 pounds you have that others have criticized just means you love my cooking? Maybe your way of raising your children works for you and them and my way works better for my family? We are all different, react different to situations, and our differences should be cherished not criticized.
