How would your closest friends describe you? My closest friends describe me as sarcastic, though I much prefer quick witted and intellectually amusing. My friends are a bunch of sensitive babies and neither you nor I can rely on a damn thing they say.
Seriously though, I describe myself as a believer in life's infinite possibilities, a lover of nature and outdoor activities and friend to the animal world (well, one minor exception: snakes--Indiana Jones reference to come).
What makes me smile and laugh out loud? My rejection from e-Harmony (okay, this never really happened--this is my first attempt at online dating). Like my friends, they too, are a bunch of sensitive babies and neither you nor I can put any faith in their decisions.
Okay, so things that make me really laugh are: Lewis Black, Jim Gaffigan, Garbiel Iglesias, life in general (don't take life too seriously).
What accomplishments are you most proud of? The accomplishments I am most proud of can be construed as somewhat illicit, thusly, putting them into written form was highly discouraged by my attorney. However, like my friends and e-Harmony, my attorney is a sensitive baby and neither of us can rely on any advice he renders.
In addition to the above:
1. As a single mother I managed to raise a child (now an adult) that to date is not incarcerated and holds a steady job;
2. Through hard work and prudent choices I own my home (well, the bank does and I'm paying them back) and, like my son, hold a steady job.
3. I have traveled to several exotic destinations (albeit covertly), and hold a steady job.

By the way, that low maintenance part I mentioned....it has gotten a little less desirable as i get older. My theatrical side enjoys Phantom of the Opera, but enjoy a wide variety of the arts..Movies action adventure, romance, comedy, but I don't care for the horror movies. . I like baseball, football, basketball, and motor sports. I'm comfortable in jeans and of course like to dress up and wear nice heels too. I'm all woman and not afraid to dress in jeans and get my hands dirty too.. I Enjoy History, especially the Civil War era. I like curling up with a good book, and love to listen to the rain falling and then seeing the promised rainbow.. I so enjoy hugs, and would enjoy hugging you. Next,,off to the the wine country of Napa Sonoma,,wine tasting and enjoying the people and scenery,,,On to Tahoe,, drive the lake and hike to Crystal Springs for a picnic for great exercise,,, decide to dress up and have a culinary delight dinner on the lake...Visit Santa Fe or Taos in the winter,,,ski or just stay in snuggled in front of the fire, reading and watching movies,, drive the coast of California on HWY 1 from San Diego to the Oregon coast, stopping along the way to swim, fish, dine, meet locals and get a sun tan because the top is down while listening to great smooth jazz,,just need that convertible.LOL
