My three children live and work in San Francisco, and my most favorite things to do are to visit them and find a new favorite restaurant, have unlimited time on Union or Chestnut Street, and walk to the Golden Gate. I don't need to spend a lot of money finding a place to relax or get away from it all. I find that those places are much closer than we think.
I was born in Cincinnati and moved to Sacramento as a teenager and have been in California ever since. After graduating from UC Davis with a history degree, I settled in Sacramento and have made my home here. I hope I haven't lost any friends along the way as I have found, over the years, friends are what keep you sane and grounded. I am not much of a risk taker, so this Match format is a bit of a challenge. For many years I ran many miles and many marathons, until the wheels feel off. Now I put that same energy toward practicing yoga, some gym time, and walking on the bike trail. . Looking through the internet for the right someone to share the good life...I can't see the forest for the trees...is it you? I am preparing to retire, entering Stage 2 of my life, still young enough to enjoy all the things that I love...travel, hiking, great food and wine, and people. While I'm a bit of an introvert I still enjoy the "phys" and "ogys" of life, like philosophy, geography, viniology, numerology.
