I was born in San Antonio Texas. I have 2 brothers and a sister. i was the third child.
We moved to Austin a few years later. My parents opened a Mexican restaurant there called the Casa Loma. I believe it was was the first integrated restaurant there. In 1957 we moved to Michigan and my parents opened The La Fiesta Restaurant in Monroe. After a few years they moved it to LaSalle. They retired and sold it a a local family that is still running it.
My father played guitar and my mother sang. My younger brother plays guitar beautifully,as does his son.
I met my late husband who was from Monroe, MI and we married in 1973. He was a studio drummer in Mashville and was on the road when I met him. We started our own business representing 3 filling supply companies. We were together until he passed away in 2004. We had 2 daughters, one is living in Orange CA and the other is in San Antonio Texas.
I am living with my older daughter in Orange but am planning to move to San Diego soon. I will be living with my sister who is also widowed.
