Date men and women from United States. I'm originally from the Pacific NW (Seattle), but graduate school landed me in Tucson. I moved to the LA area in 1998 and lived there until I moved to Tucson in 2005. I miss the water and the green of Seattle, and the water and big city of LA, but I don't miss Seattle's weather, nor do I miss LA's smog or housing prices, so here I still am... I am an intelligent, outspoken, and independent woman, and I need someone who can keep up with me. That said, I tend to be shy at first, but once I'm comfortable, my friends will tell you that I can be the life of the party (and if we hit it off, I'm sure they'd be more than happy to share some funny stories), but at the very least, I will definitely keep you entertained. Basically, I just love to have fun! I have a dry sense of humor that often tends toward the sarcastic. I am also caring and compassionate and will do for others before myself. I'm fiercely loyal to those I love, and I expect the same from my significant other. My friends and family mean the world to me and I won't give them up for anyone.
I have a strong personality, I like to debate, and I've been told that I may be a little competitive (game nights have been known to get interesting), so I need someone who isn't afraid to express their opinions and is willing to go toe to toe with me. I love beautiful tattoos, and wouldn't mind a heavily tattooed significant other. I only have a few myself, and would have more if I could, but unfortunately, the career path I've chosen doesn't really allow for this.
I worked extremely hard to get where I'm at in my career, and I'm proud of what I do. I take my job seriously, and although there are times when I work a lot, my job is definitely not my life, and it certainly doesn't define me! I love music and I love going to live shows, I love old cars/trucks/bikes and all things vintage. I adore getting dressed up and going out, but I'm also content at home on the couch watching a movie with someone I care about. I also love a good meal and a glass of wine. I would love to travel, but I seem to use all of my vacation time visiting family and friends in Washington or Southern California (plus the occasional Vegas trip), so I don't get to all of the places I'd really like to go...
Enough about me, what am I looking for that I haven't already mentioned? Basically someone who's compatible with me. I want someone who has similar interests and likes to spend nights out, as well as in. If you're a total homebody, we won't work. I'm also looking for someone who is thoughtful, kind, caring, and compassionate. I also want someone that can make me laugh. I said I love all things vintage, this includes good old fashioned manners and chivalry. I love a little romance! What girl doesn't want to be swept off of her feet?!? I want butterflies in my stomach when I talk to you and I want you to feel the same way about me. I want to be the first thing you think about in the morning and the last thing you think about when you go to sleep, with plenty of thoughts in between, and I want you to be as ever present in my mind. I want someone who works as hard as I do, but isn't married to his job. I also want a man who appreciates the importance of friends and family. You also need to know that a relationship is a partnership requiring give and take on both sides, and you must like animals. And since I'm looking to settle down and eventually start a family, I'm not interested in a fling, so if you're not looking for anything serious, I don't think I'm a match for you. And although I'm far from devout at this moment in my life, my faith is important to me, so if you're an atheist, I'm also probably not a match for you...

I have fallen in love with mountain biking over the past few years. I also play softball and soccer. I enjoy my work, but also enjoy the time I have away from it. I like the flexibility of my schedule as it gives me time to schedule the fun stuff when I want to.
