As far as how my friends see me, it depends on what season of life we're in or what condition or what mold they've made for themselves. I can laugh at myself . I'm quite forth right. But at times I'm ambivalent and it takes me awhile to say what I'm really thinking. I'm passionate about things i think are right.
I want to help the world and specifically the people who live without running water and on less than $2. a day. I used to be upset that no one seemed worried about the poor and about situations that millions endure. I am happier giving to agencies knowing conditions ARE improving. So educating people about poverty's oppression is one of my passions. I am happy the world is improving as far as life expectancy, health, and food supplies. So deep down I'm a teacher- but for me that means "what can we learn together and how will it help us or others in life".

Date someone special from United States. Life is good--I work at a job that I truly enjoy and know that I do well. I have friends and family close enough to get together for holidays and other special celebrations (like weddings, graduations, "first grand children", etc). But I do miss sharing these times with a special person. I have been widowed since 2001 and I really have missed the drives through the country, fishing (even when we did not catch anything), snuggling on the couch, sharing footrubs & backrubs, laughing at crazy movies, and all the other little things that make life FUN.
Don't get me wrong, I have been having FUN but there are so many things yet to be experienced. I would love to find a guy willing to have FUN with me...who might even take me fishing once in a while. I love to GO too--the beach, the mountains, New York City, Alabama, Tennessee, and/or Mississippi backroads...where ever our wanderings might lead us.
