Date someone special from Cloverdale, United States. Recently divorced, and a bit leery of this, but I am an adventurous person, so here goes. I enjoy being active but have not and probably never will attempt a marathon. Really not into running. Walks along the beach, in the woods, or interesting towns are great. Love to snorkel and scuba dive (warm, clear water preferably). Recently got into bicycling. Taking bikes to Angel Island for a picnic would be a fun date for me. I try to stay health conscious; prefer to eat organic if possible, and rarely eat beef or pork. Enjoy movies, concerts, dancing, plays, travel. Love Mexico and Hawaii and most places with warm clear water and sandy beaches. Would like to visit Thailand or Bali and revisit Europe. Also love the coastal towns and beaches nearby and our beautiful Redwoods and Wine Country are awesome.
I've ridden Harleys and ATVs, sailed in the bay, been face to face with a hammerhead shark at 100' down, dove underwater caves; but I think this Match thing is the scariest so far. I'm not going to wait around for a fairytale to happen; I realize I must take steps to meet someone special, and I've been told that this has actually led to some "happy ever afters". We shall see. I'm not interested in serial daters or players. Would like to find someone who is on a similar path of enjoying life, who is compassionate and respectful of the planet, it's creatures, it's wonders, and of course me. OK, it may not happen on the first date, but I'm ready for my next adventure. Hope it's fun.
More about who I am. I believe in Angels and the power of the mind and soul to manifest and heal. I am creative, compassionate and get along well with all types of people. I'm a good friend and caring person. I take pride in my appearance, try to exercise regularly, like being fashionable, enjoy art, music, cooking, gardening, some sports, spending time with great friends, dining out, and enjoy lovely wines. I know that for most men body type seems to be a bit more important than for women, and I struggled with that part of the profile. If it were possible I would have checked slender, average, fit and curvy. To explain that, I'm a small person, size 6, but feel my best at, and am working towards, a size 4. I'm well proportioned and curvy in the right places. So there you go.
I love animals and children and am very connected to family. A friendly guy who can have fun and laugh with me would be a good start.
