I'm definitely a blue jean kind a girl on the weekends (corporate during the week). A little quirky and maybe a little sassy at times - (so they say) but I think it's more in a fun kind of way. I can stand my own ground so if you're a jerk please pass on by - I just don't have the time nor the desire.
When you want to talk of relaxing then my true heart is probably the water - anything about water - beach, lake, river - it's all relaxing to me - just give me a float! I've ridden on the back of a Harley and loved it! The roads leading into the mountains are breathtakingly beautiful! And sometimes silence is golden. I love a state fair with all that good food that you can only get once a year and can't forget about those roller coasters - I have learned that I enjoy roller coasters. Go carts - love riding go carts. (thinking here that I may be younger than I thought I was!)
I enjoy a bottle of wine while cooking dinner with friends or without, I love a good rain storm, sitting out with a glass of wine listening to the crickets, I enjoy hitting yard sales, flea markets and antique shops. I like most sports - not so much hockey tho.....
I'm really just a simple kind of girl. I will admit that I do enjoy getting "dolled" for a special night but that's what makes it special, that is doesn't happen too frequently.
I recently had my 2 visits to The Tavern @ The Summit - my first and last! Had heard it was a "happening place" and only found it to be more like a "meat market". Actually I think I may have seen a couple of you there.
I will say I am a loyal friend and value the friendships I have. I need my "girl" time with the girls - annual beach trip. I feel that in a relationship we both need 'friend time' on occasions. Family is an important issue with me. My kids are grown and gone so there is no drama, well, the usual drama that seems to stay around when you have kids. But I will say they have turned out quite well and I am proud of them both.
Financially stable - own my place so fortunately not living under a bridge!
I think I'm going to start my "Bucket List" - I've realized that there's a lot of things out there that I want to do and know I have plenty of time but my list keeps growing!

. This is the hard part, isn't it? To get a description of me, I asked my friends for adjectives and I got replies like: funny, witty, bright, loyal, intelligent, cute and thoughtful. Makes me sound a little like a boy scout! I guess to choose my own adjectives: "true" would suit me. If I am your friend, I will be true and loyal. Also I'd choose funny--as I try to see the humor in most situations and I do believe that a day without laughter is like a day without sunshine. As to what I am looking for:a friend and companion.
