I'd like to find a sweet, honest, hard-working man with a good sense of humor to spend the rest of my life with. I would prefer to spend time with a man who enjoys at least some of the things I like, such as sports, home projects, movies, camping, playing board games/dominoes, etc. I am basically a homebody, but I will take a vacation at least once or twice a year and go away for weekend excursions here and there. I'm content most of the time to stay home and do things around the house, like work in the yard, home improvement projects, etc. If you like to be on the go most of the time, I'm probably not for you. I'm not a couch potato, but I do enjoy my home, and it would be nice to have someone to come home to.
I am very outgoing around other people, but I do enjoy spending time alone or with the one I love. Most important to me in a relationship are honesty and humor and a good work ethic. I live a pretty simple life, and it doesn't take a lot to make me happy. If I have enough income to pay all my bills, go out to eat once or twice a week, go shopping occasionally, and take a vacation or two every year, I feel I'm doing fine and am probably better off than a lot of others around me. I would consider myself low maintenance. All the "stuff" we buy and accumulate in our lives here on this earth is just that....stuff. We're only borrowing it for a short time, and then it's there for someone else to have to deal with when we're gone from this life. So if accumulating lots of land and money and material possessions is important to you, don't be upset if I'm not impressed or don't want to get on board. Don't get me wrong, it's nice to be able to afford certain luxuries for which we've worked hard to obtain, but I don't require much. God has blessed me with good health, a decent job, good friends and family, and so much more than I deserve.
I would prefer that my mate like dogs, or at least tolerate them. I have two miniature dachshunds who are indoors most of the time, but they let themselves in and out of their doggy door, so I don't necessarily have to hurry home from work and let them out. I have lots of interests, and I'll tell you more about them when we meet. Thanks for reading my profile.
. I am very uncomfortable writing about myself. I am a warm and welcoming person who likes meeting new people. I grew up in a large, close knit family and I hug and touch without realizing I do so. Family is very important to me. I am not the kind of girl you would throw into a particular classification. I love being outdoors and am a tomboy at heart. I love spending the day doing physical activity and getting in bed at night feeling like you have not wasted the day. I love that body ache that sinks you into the mattress. I love the lake and mountains and coastline. I am comfortable sitting in a dive drinking a beer and eating oysters or attending more social setting events. I enjoy seeing new sites. I enjoy connecting with different cultures. I have traveled to multiple countries but have not seen all I want to see. I believe I am a kind and giving person and would like to meet someone who is honest, caring, focused, and fun loving.
