Date a woman from Alabama, United States. So here's a little tidbit of who I am...
First off, I am generally a very positive person. I really like to interact with people of all ages (especially kids). I really have a knack with children and used to be a sub teacher, which I absolutely loved! I have 2 children who live with me, ages 13 (girl) and 11 (boy). I also have a 19 year old son in college, who lives away from home. I take pride in trying to be the best mom I can be to my kids---and any man I date had better be a great dad! The way a man fathers his children tells ALOT about his character, and that is soooo important!
I enjoy nature very much. I love to fish, go on nature trails, or even just sit beside the water and take in the beauty and peacefulness of it.
I like family oriented entertainment such as bowling, movies, and eating out with the kids. I am fairly active and find it hard to sit still and do nothing. I like outdoor sports, such as frisbee and throwing the football with my son. Although I don't get out very much, every now and then I like to go out to hear a live band or do karaoke, because I love music and I love to sing. Now to describe me. I'm truly a giver. When I'm in a relationship and am happy there, I will give it all I have. I love with my whole heart, and very passionate. I am sweet, very caring...But that doesn't mean I let people walk all over me. I will always stand up for what I think is right, because I believe in treating others with respect and kindness, and expect nothing less from other people!! I am silly at times and downright goofy sometimes. I love to laugh and crack stupid, off the wall comments and even laugh at myself. I am easygoing and try to have fun even while doing the most mundane things like grocery shopping or running errands.. I never meet a stranger (unless they seem weird or crazy, or are pompous, cocky, smug, etc.). I am also a very honest and humble person who is not all about money. I do appreciate the finer things in life, but to focus on those things too much....just isn't me. I am a pretty simple girl, and I truly value things like sweet jestures, a loving touch, honesty, generosity, kindness, and a down to earth kind of personality much more than how much a person is worth financially. I do believe in providing my family with nice things, but not allowing my kids to take those things for granted is important to me. I don't like it when people brag on what they have....it is so utterly unattractive to me to see people showing off their possessions. (The best things in life aren't things!) I saw a quote that reminded me of this recently: God gave us people to love and Things to use....not things to love and People to use. Pretty good, huh?
Deal breakers for me are jealousy, drama, posessiveness, trying to control me (I am not property!), mistreating my kids (or any kid for that matter!), a ton of tatoos, foul language, immature behavior, the silent treatment, mid-life crisis stricken men, men who are obsessed with the mirror, and more...A few more things I DO like....country music (Zac Brown Band, Band Perry, Josh Turner, and lots more), some pop music, 90's Alternative music (Pearl Jam, Candlebox, and more) and very little rap and R&B. I'm a down to earth girl with high moral values who just wants to be treated with respect, love, kindness and all that good stuff! No drama for me....just want to have an honest, open, easygoing, fun relationship, and of course, communicate when problems pop up. I love hairy guys LOL, facial hair, but NO Tom Selleck mustaches please!
