. I love to laugh, and I love to laugh until I almost cry. That is one of my most favorite things in life. I am honest, I am genuine, you know when I am happy (which is most of the time) but vice versa it is hard to hide it when I am not! I'm not very good at pretending. I seek to find the good in others. And I am pretty loud (if we are telliing the truth - but in my defense, I teach 2nd grade so I am quite use to having to speak over 15-18 other little people most of the time in class)...but loud is not a bad thing! I'm excitable, and I love being social. I can sometimes overcommit myself to things, which is essentially what brought me here. Sometimes there just don't seem to be enough hours in the day...
I like to exercise. I initially didn't include this in my profile, but I just realized that being active is a pretty big part of my life - so decided I might should include it after all! I swam competitively growing up, quit right before college ( yep, right before it might actually become useful in the way of scholarships and such- sorry mom and dad!), started running about 5 years ago, and bought a road bike about 3 years ago. I love triathlons. I completed a Half Ironman last September, and plan to go back again this year. So that's pretty much how I've been spending my free time this summer. I also work at a local running shoe store, and my absolute favorite part is getting to talk to customers who are just starting out!! I love their excitement, their trepidation, and I love encouraging them that they can do whatever they set their minds to!! It is the BEST!!!
My family, my friends, my jobs, my health, and my faith are all things which combine together to make me feel incredibly blessed. I am not the type of girl who feels that we need to do every single thing together. In fact, I am fine if we have our own hobbies as long as we respect and support each other's interests. I enjoy spending time alone every now and then, but would also enjoy having someone to share experiences like dinner, or a movie, or just sitting on the porch with a drink and talking about our day.
