Giving some insight to what twirls around my noggin might give a prospective "winker" what they might expect to learn about me at the first meetup. First, this is a dating website, so I do not respond to all inquiries as I assume, unless you say otherwise, that you are interested in a possible date. With that said, I'm not attached to where I meet new friends. So if you are open to friendship as well, with your say so, I will always respond. Physical attraction is a primordial function of chemistry, and if there simply isn't any for one or both of us, in my experience friendship or hurt feelings is where we will end up. I'm passed on by just as many of my interests as I'm accepted as a possibility. I understand this is part of this dating thing.
I'm a romantic at heart, though its taken me years of lessons to learn the depth of this outside of the Hollywood version. I resonated very deeply with objective data and scientific facts the first half of my life. Not that this interest has completely vanished, it now sits on a back burner. Philosophy, the meaning of life and the connection to all things have come to the front burner. In my quest for a spiritual connection, I've become aware of why I have needed a victim mentality, anger and drama to show up in my life. This is not a declaration of my loss of these lovely bedfellows, I share this to say that I'm aware of these parts of myself, and use them as a guide to understanding ALL of myself and how they affect the relationships for which I participate.
Humor is a quintessential element I've found important to coax the flame of passion to grow and then to keep it burning. You'll learn I simply do not take life seriously, for me, a serious life is a much more difficult approach. I'm on a continuing path of introspection and bringing the best expression of myself to this planet.
On spirituality and religion: such a difficult subject to broach, however with experiences on Match, some time can be saved here... I'm a seeker, not a finder. For me, there are many paths to understanding truth. I've found truth in all the major religions and floating indiscriminately in the world. If you have found the "one true religion" and hope to convince me of such, we're probably not going to go deeper than friends. I'm irretrievably lost in my delusion.
With all this said, nothing, in this crazy world, seems to surprise me anymore. Craziness, randomocity and spectacle continue show up... thankfully.
A few random tidbits: I choose - Cholula sauce over Tabasco, awareness over fear, comedies over dramas, smiling over playing with dolls, uplifting conversations over the news, love over everything, authenticity over the best performance, to be for, over against, sincerity over mere honesty.
I have nothing against material things, I'll be happy if a spanky new car finds its way into my life, however, things have proven to bring only passing amusement. Money is essential, I understand this paradox.
Wow! I've kept your interest this long... In my spiritual journey I haven't lost my masculine. I play hockey, backpack and other types of things us belly scratching, burping dudes like to do.
My daughter is my most profound teacher. My life revolves around her. As a result of my divorce and separation agreement, I do have kid free time, but when I have her, I get pretty wrapped into that world. Some patience might be required for this.
