Date someone special from United States. OK, I'm new to the single life. I don't know the first thing about on-line dating services so please excuse any mistakes I may make.
I'm an introverted, kind hearted, hardworking, educated, healthy middle aged man (who looks younger than he is) looking for someone who's independent, attractive, intelligent, open minded but too busy to socialize or probably ever date. I'm the real deal, not a scam artist or a "player".A relationship must begin with friendship so let's get to know each other one step at a time. Who knows, you may have a laugh, make a friend, or more. If not, perhaps you would settle for a dinner companion once in a while?Yes, I have been married before (twice). If that bothers you then I fully understand and you can stop reading now and remove my profile from future searches. If you’re ok with it then read on.I have 4 kids: three grown good adult boys who do not live with me but visit occasionally, and one wonderful precious little girl who sometimes does live with me. I love my children very much. They are all wonderful human beings for whom I am proud. I'm open to being with someone who has kids or doesn't have kids. (After having four I think I'm pretty good at it!) That being said, I won't be creating more children. Too blunt? Sorry, I just don't want you to be mislead. Again, if you’re ok with it then read on.I lead a busy life (work and time with my daughter) so dating is nearly impossible. However, I'm free on Saturday nights and almost every Sunday! Perhaps when I finish renovating my house I'll have even more time?
I don't skydive, race sports cars, fly my own jet, bull ride, or hunt wild game in Africa. It's down to earth for me. Besides, why would anyone jump out of a perfectly good airplane? I've never owned a Ferrari or Italian suit. My car is one year old and I dress well enough...French cut ok? I don't have six pack abs but I'm trim and fit. I bathe regularly and try to take good care of my teeth (you've got to love that!). Work out occasionally and will more with a good friend. Can't dance, perhaps you can teach me? Still with me? Read on...Perhaps just coffee, lunch, dinner, or a drink with some good conversation? I like taking walks and going to the movies. A museum or a park is terrific. Browsing a book store (if you can find one) is fun. Driving to a new place, listening to some new music, eating a new food, and what's wrong with cuddling up on the couch with a glass of wine and some soft music? Did i just say "cuddling"? Yes, I did. ;)Sorry ladies, I'm not James Bond, Bruce Lee, Mister Rogers, Brad Pitt, or any guy who was ever on the cover of GQ. I did get my picture in Money Magazine once...not because I had a lot of money though. They were just taking a survey of random people in Rockefeller Center. Am I bad looking? You got this far so I must be doing something right. By the way, I look better than my pictures...really.
No games, no tricks. Believe it or not there are men in this world who don't just want to have sex. I'm one of them. Intimacy is terrific but without love it's EMPTY.
So just relax! Start an e-mail conversation. I don't bite. Take a chance. Isn't that why you got on this site to begin with?
Music: Rock (of course), Classical (especially a good movie theme), Alternative, a bit of Jazz and Blues.

Food: A medium rare steak with a good pinot, sushi (any time, any place) with warm sake, oyster shooters, a messy burger (Clarks in Mountain View is the best) with a cold dark beer, Pho, Indian, Thai, Italian, and yes vegetarian.
Meet people from United States. I am not anyone special, not pretty, not smart, not rich, but with a warm heart, honest and faithful. Easy going, good insight, always carry a smile. Tradition, respect love, and not expecting any games.
I am 47, not too chubby. Thanks to mum for the full black hair, tidy short, not your dreamy long hair angel, sorry!
Clean and tidy, hate powder on face, not a jewelry person, nor a brand fans, contemporary dressing, mostly in pants and casual tops.
I am not any professional, just been years in school unto MBA. Not too clever, neither a fool.
Multi facets, sometimes too quiet, sometimes too loud, sometimes too cocky, sometimes too shy, an easy going person but could be very difficult and tough sometimes!

Once questioning a guy who sent me a special birthday card – a lion photo on cover……….his answer is ……..I look like a woman with power and influence.
If you ask my teammates in office, the answer is “heinous”!
Recently chat with a taxi drive in NY, he prizes my smile.
A close gay friend said I am very “water”.........comfortabl

Date a soulmate from United States. This is the hardest part, as I never quite know what to say. It is not that I am terribly shy, it is simply that I am at a loss for words, perhaps it is because I am older than most I surmise and find the "online" scene rather bizarre at times, although secretly deep inside I still have fantasties of a "You've Got Mail" scenario. LOL! Seriously, I am not new to the online scene; I've been on various sites over the years and have just decided to give this one more try, now that I am more able to date. As noted, I am not new to the online world, so for those of you who might not know how to navigate these waters... I am not here for a hook-up. If you are inclined, drop me a line and I can most certainly point you in the right direction. My pictures and stats are current. I will update if anything changes drastically. I will make a sweeping generalization and state that "we are all adults here" so please be polite and do not send explicit pictures.
I enjoy a small yet fulfilling life here in the Bay Area. I have the career of my dreams that I am terribly passionate about, sometimes to a fault. I tend to be a rather passionate person in general. I've spent the last 17 years raising a son, and now that he is older, no plans on leaving me, I am ready to see what's out there, so to speak.
What am I looking for in a relationship? That is something that makes me laugh out loud! I am looking for a gentleman, a man's man, someone who treats a woman with respect, and one who is not afraid to show affection. A sense of humor is important, as well as, wanting to have fun. Of course I would like to find someone who is stable and is also ready to date. I think that it all begins with friendship. The chemistry that everyone is always talking about is often confused with the notion of "love at first sight," or even lust, we've all been there. Chemistry would imply combining two different personalities to see what kind of reaction happens. That takes time.
Meet men and women from United States. I am passionate about my friends. I always put the needs of others above my own. And due to this attitude of caring, giving, and serving, I am truly blessed with amazing friends and family.
I am a USMC veteran so, I am also VERY passionate about our military and America.
I believe that you must make it a priority to do something nice to anyone everyday. It can be as simple as a smile, holding a door, or a compliment etc. You may be the one person that changes another persons bad day. What's the point in life if we do not help each other smile?
Date a woman from United States. Great mom, enjoy my work and teaching. Love going to the movies, live comedy, dancing and taking life one day at the time and travelling.
