I am completely grateful for my family and my health. I am very close with my family, and I always make sure to allocate time to spend with them since they live relatively close. You're nothing without your health, so I do my best to make sure that I am taking care of my body and eating well. But, I do love ice cream, so you know how that goes :)

Meet someone special from Santa Monica, United States. A little about me... I was born and raised in LA. I spent a summer in Italy when I was 17 (I have no idea what my parents were thinking!), four years outside of Sacramento and then a few more years in San Francisco. I'm a twin! My sister and I look nothing alike, but you'll be hard pressed to tell us apart on the phone. I'm close to my family... I have 2 sisters, 2 brother-in-laws, a niece, a puppy nephew and great parents. I'm athletic - I love spinning and yoga and work out 4-5 times a week. I own my own company and am very lucky to enjoy what I do. I love to cook and entertain. My mom raised us all where we can throw an impromptu dinner party in a matter of minutes. I'm a pop-culture junkie and would die without a DVR. I'm a MAC girl all the way. I also love music and always have something playing.
I think giving back is important and try to volunteer whenever I can. In 2006, I did a huge clean-up in New Orleans after Katrina. In 2007 I walked 60 miles for breast cancer and in 2009 I organized a citywide coat drive in Manhattan Beach. After that, I started my own company that focuses on cause-related PR and marketing.
Now, some things I'm looking for in a match that are what they are (I have run into several of these in the dating world!)... I'm looking for someone who is happy, employed, has drive, doesn't live with his parents or multiple roommates and isn't currently in a relationship. Is that too much to ask for? This sounds like a sitcom, no?

Working from home in a new town makes it tough to meet new people and I am not really interested in trolling the bars for a significant other these days....soooo I thought this might be a good way to meet someone?! I am a California native...grew up in the Bay Area moved to San Diego for college then headed to Denver where I have been living for the past 7 years. Enjoying being back in the warm weather although I could certainly do without the LA traffic! • My family and friends are everything to me. As are peanut M&Ms, Paris, and sleeping in. But despite my love of a slow start morning, I'll gladly pick up a family member from the airport at the crack of dawn, even if I was up late helping a friend deal with a breakup the night before. It's always people first with me.
• I love traveling but I hate airplanes. And birds. And birds that fly into airplanes. Despite my trepidation of being suspended unnaturally 30,000 feet in the air, flying can't stop me from traveling as often as I can, because I adore an adventure.
• I'm a dog person, and don't really get people who aren't... So if you treat your pup like your first-born child, and think the three of us should take a vacation together... Count me in.
• I've volunteered for organizations that help battered women and children, and campaigned for equal rights for the lesbian and gay community, and those experiences sparked the passion that led to my new career. I'm now getting my graduate degree at UCLA in social work. I love every aspect of the field: clinical theory, doing psychotherapy, and fighting for social justice and equality.
• I’m also fanatical about fashion. I can study Vogue and runway shows just as seriously as I can study neurobiology and public policy. The connection might not seem obvious at first glance, but let's just say I believe in fashion therapy.
• Music is essential. I still believe in a mixed tape (I guess a mixed CD now, but I miss mixed tapes). Everything in life should have a soundtrack, so I make a mix for every occasion, including trips, workouts, good moods, bad moods, and study sessions.
• I grew up in Oregon and come from a family of passionate Duck fans. And if you watched Trailblazer games in the late 80s/ early 90s, that was me holding up homemade signs for Buck Williams. I will admit, after years of fighting it while living in L.A., the Lakers finally got to me. But Buck and the Blazers will always have my heart.
• I'm funny. And that's just a fact. I can tell, because people laugh at me all the time. ;)
