Date people from United States. I hate things where they ask you to describe yourself. It's kind of difficult to do something like that when you already know what kind of person you are but it wouldn't do it's justice if I were to write a whole bunch of words to do that.
But if this is what it takes to find my soul-mate, then so be it! I would like to have that nice conversation with someone to get to know them than have them read all about me. I'm a very active person. I hate being bored so I'm constantly doing stuff. I play volleyball 2-3 times a week, mountain bike when the weather permits, snowboard during the winter, travel when I can. Pretty much anything to keep myself active.
I can say that I'm NOT your ordinary guy. I AM that 0.01% of guys that are not the jerks, A-holes, punks, etc. I AM the guy who will be there for you when you need me, listen to you when no one else will, be your best friend when your best friend is not available. All the things you think guys should know about you, I do...Most of the time. With a few exceptions to those little secrets that you women care to keep to themselves thinking we SHOULD know but we don't. I'm that guy who will be your best-friend, the Ben to your Jerry, the peas to your carrots. In a nutshell, I'm looking for my best friend who I can tell anything to. Be able to confide in them and be able to trust them with everything I tell them.
If somehow I've gotten your attention and would like to pick my brain some more, I'm more than welcome to have that conversation with you.
Meet men and women from United States. I'm very open to meeting new people and enjoying getting to know each other. I think it's a great way to have some fun and learn a lot about yourself and others.
I tend to be quiet at first and open up once I get to know someone. My friends enjoy finding out how funny and quirky I am. I love doing the simple things with people I care about, like meeting up with friends at the local farmers market for a nice summer evening. I'm also a great listener and enjoy good conversation.
I'm avoiding have "a type" because I think it's fun to be surprised by people. One thing I have learned along that way is that I'm looking for a man who is truly kind.
A random list of some other info about me:
1. I love old-fashioned letters and notes - sending and receiving them.
2. I'm oddly good at that little game minesweeper.
3. I grew up in Texas, and the first question people usually ask me about that is "Where's your accent?" I have one, but it only comes out when I starting to get upset. (Don't worry - that doesn't happen often, and some long-time friends have never even heard it.)
4. I make a mean apple pie. From scratch.
5. I went to space camp when I was in high school. It was a great experience.
6. I was once teaching about earthquakes when an earthquake happened. My students were amazed by my dedication to their learning experience. I was mostly terrified until the shaking stopped. (They don't do earthquakes in Texas.)
So drop me a line and let's start getting to know each other!
