Date people from California, United States. I grew up in the Bay Area, went to school in LA, and then came back up to the Bay. I'm pretty chill about things; when with people I like to plan out things but when by myself or with family/close friends I feel fine just hanging out without a plan for the day. Myers Briggs INFP.
I like eating. Japanese food, Chinese, Mediteranean, Turkish, etc. I also like dark chocolate.
I also like exploring new things and new places, whether it be through traveling, walking through a new neighborhood, learning new skills (recently I took a sewing class! :) ), improving on an instrument, or something else.
I am also pretty chill. I can hang in a social environment/party with new people, but I also like to have my own time. I like hanging in groups but not necessarily saying much too.
I currently work in finance and I spend time finding and meeting cool people and eating lunch with them. For work, this past year I spent a good amount of time in China for work and visited a lot of neat cities - Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Jiaxing, etc.
I'm looking for someone confident, funny, able to speak to lots of different types of people. Also, committed to God - smart, articulate.
I also find attractive:
- Integrity/Honesty - someone who is honest even when inconvenient
- Mentoring - someone who mentors younger women/girls (e.g. volunteer time in church youth group)
- Self-aware
- Tasteful - in forms of entertainment consumption, jokes, in her conversation
- Tolerant of messiness - apologies, my desk is often disorganized
I'd like to find someone who can go to China or other places God would have us go and be creative and thoughtful in doing God's work wherever.
One of my good friends observed that in couples, values around money and career often are important areas of compatibility - I've added in faith as well, so below are my values/views on the topics:
God/faith
- God is important to me. Over the last few years post college, I think I've veered too much into investing my mind/time into career. I'm in progress of reprioritizing and realigning what is important to me.
- My background comes from a variety of Christian backgrounds - I grew up in a conservative evangelical church, went to two Christian high schools, one with a fundamentalist background, the other with a very diverse background. I was exposed to things of the Holy Spirit throughout. I hold some beliefs closely although the venn diagram of my belief seems to be uncommon.
Money/Spending
- I am "high/low" - I prefer to spend for value, not always for "brand"; but if there is something nice that is worth it, then I may get it as well
- E.g. I like buying from Walmart and Daiso Japan, but also will buy shirts I like at Gilt.
- I like going to hole in the wall places, I feel comfortable in restaurants in the Mission, SF Chinatown, ethnic malls, etc. But I feel comfortable going to Napa once in a while and trying cool wineries.
Career / Family
- I'd like to have kids and raise them up in a God-centered, Bible-believing home.
- I've invested a lot into career but my parents put family before career consistently

there is more to success then just money... like good friends that you can trust, respect for
yourself and others, and passion in what you do. I find myself to be a bit of a hopeless romantic
which usually gets me into the wrong relationships, or I stay in them too long because of that. But
at least you know I will treat you right and always do the little things that make you smile. As you
get to know me you'll find out that I have an adventurous spirit and love last minute plans and

I’m a chef so I guess it’s obvious to say that cooking is one of my favorite things to do. I love
experimenting in the kitchen and trying new recipes. Going out to eat and trying other cuisines is
always a great experience. I also enjoy video games, comic books, going to concerts, and movies. I
don't get to travel as much as I would like, but someday I really would like to visit Japan and
Australia. Maybe those are trips we can take together!
As generic as it sounds, I love a beautiful smile. I find girls who have happy and outgoing
personalities to be the most attractive. I’m looking for someone that I can share and experience all
the joys of life with. She is fun and outgoing and always up for a good time. I want to be with
someone that is affectionate and will appreciate being romanced. I don’t know many girls who don’t
like getting flowers out of the blue or being surprised with a gift. Those are the little things that I
believe make a big difference. Other than that it is wide open...

Im deeply spiritual and in tune with self and others. I love children and animals, I find that I always can learn something new from them. Water and me go hand in hand.
