My goals up until now have been very focused on my career, at the expense of other areas. The saying "Work comes to those who do it." applies to me. I have recent realized; all the work will be there on Monday. My personal goal is simple: I want to be happy. I want my migration to the West Coast to be worth it. I would like to go back to school soon. (Don’t we all)
What makes me unique? When compared to many on Main Street in HB, I am very low key and present myself honestly. I am personable in small groups, but clam up in large groups. I suffer from garden-variety shyness. I am a heaping depository of useless information and obscure references.
I am fairly well traveled. My passport has some stamps. There is so much to see in California, but traveling alone sucks. I live close to the beach, but this too is not so great solo.
I am looking for a relationship, but I do not expect to be married in a year. I am not in the business of changing people. I have seen the disastrous effects of that.
I am open to children. I like other people's kids, like my nephew in Michigan. I love to spend time with him. At the same time, he is utterly exhausting and I gladly ship him back to his mom and dad at the end of the day.
I can discuss a lot of things, but I am learning that agreeing to disagree is the best policy. Most people share a lot of common ground. The differences of opinion tend to be magnified ten-fold.
I do drink, but not often (maybe once a week). My liver just isn't built for that stunt anymore.
Exercise is pretty important to me. I do yoga and jiu jitsu, both poorly. I am possibly the worst person to ever step on the Jiu Jitsu mats, and yoga leaves me sweating like crazy and stumbling on my mat. Both are practices in mind over matter. A good match for me doesn’t have to be an Olympian, but being in some sort of shape would be good.
I have a good relationship with my parents. My grandmother told me I am an old soul, whatever that means. My grandfather built the old school; I saw the blueprints in his basement. It is a magnificent structure. Although, I must admit a lot of my views have eased since moving to the West Coast.
Well I have managed to done on about myself. Here are some quick things I am looking for:

I appreciate a woman who speaks their mind, but there is a fine line between being outspoken and being brash and rude. Loud, blabber-mouth's are not cool. Put your cell phone camera away.

I'm very easy going. I try not to let things get to me because I believe that stressing about things that have already happened or that you have no power to alter is a waste of time and energy!
I wouldn't call myself a "health nut", but I like to stay in shape and I run at least 4 times a week. I cook most of what I eat so I can control what goes into it and because the thought of going to most fast food restaurants tends to curb my appetite.
I like to go out and have a good time, but I'm not 21 so drinking on a nightly basis is not my idea of a hobby. I drink socially, but only once or twice a week with friends.
