WOW!! This is hard, write about me!!!! Oh this will be one sided LOL! Well here is my shot at it. Hi all a little about myself, I’m a serial Entrepreneur I have built and sold business as well as worked in the corporate world and I feel very comfortable in both however prefer to run my own show. I have two grown kids ages 18 and 21 and they live in the home sometimes both go to school (more when we meet). I am a gentleman almost to a fault (if there is such a thing) I love all the seasons and I enjoy the entire outdoors and working out as well as just kicking back with a book or watching movies. I love to travel and some of my favorite places are Mexico ( Cabo), Hawaii, New York and of course San Francisco and Napa. I feel as comfortable on my Harley as I do in a Limo. I enjoy “Live” entertainment of all kinds especially Music. I’m looking for my “best, best friend” someone to share this journey. Status and Family; widowed 8 years and I am emotionally stable. My family is small and I am very close to my mom and little sister.
Mind set; extremely possitive outlook on life. Life has been good to me and it shows. If it can be done outside rather than inside, I'll be outside. 95% girl - 5% tomboy. I prefer life when every day is a little different.
Food and Dining, patio surfing at restaurants is a particular favorite. I'm not at all shy from exploring new culinary cuisines. I enjoy many types of ethnic foods. I've never met at cheese I didn't like. I believe in breakfast, the healthy kind. I do cook but prefer to be the sous chef. Jelly beans are a favorite treat. Peet's v. Starbucks? Peet's.
Sports and Hobbies, fast sports are my favorite spectator sports. Such as auto racing and horse racing. I'm counting the days until the America's Cup trials come to SF next month. Baseball is a very close second, particularly day games. Camping is great with a well appointed cabin involved. Golf is a new passion of mine.
Socially, I have nice circle of friends and there is always something going on. I have special connections to a PGA golf course, world class winery and concert venue. It would be great to share all that fun with someone.
Holidays; Halloween is my favorite playful holiday. A costume that makes people say, "wow" makes a great Halloween.
Fitness; running and hiking are my cardio of choice.
Music and TV; Mystery, Intrigue, Indie, Romance and Foreign films are frequently in my queue. Mad Men, Big Bang Theory, TMZ, all things HBO and most things PBS. What's on my MP3? Mostly alternative rock mixed with other genres.
Travel; I travelled with my parents as a child and have continued to do so as an adult. My passport has a variety of stamps from Great Britian, Germany, Nicaragua, the Caribbean, Mexico, Costa Rica and the Netherlands Antilles. I like to explore places as near as a drive or as far as across the globe.
Career and Finances; Assistant Property Manager for a class-A building in the financial district. Financially, I stand on my own two feet and always have.
What works for me is someone who is intelligent, sincere, eloquent, adaptable and ambitious. A man who indulges in the finer things in life. Someone who has the time and inclination to travel. A man who, if given a choice would stay in B&B rather than pitch a tent. Someone whose idea of a drive to the Marin headlands doesn't involve a motorcycle.
