I'm a recently divorced father of four. Three of the four are off to college or have graduated. My fourth, who is my 3rd daughter, is in 7th grade. I'm interested in meeting new people and hoping to find a new best friend to share the rest of my life with. I never expected to be using an online dating service at my age, but in many ways, it's pretty exciting!
I'm a litigation partner of a large international law firm. I used to travel frequently, but I've managed to cut that back significantly. I'm a big fan of "getting away for the weekend" and am willing to go almost anywhere, particularly if we can cut out early enough on Friday to beat the traffic!
I live near the beach and enjoy what I refer to as a "great beach lifestyle." I also love to play tennis and play almost every weekend and sometimes during the week as well. I also bike a lot on the Strand and love the beach.
I am pretty active but also enjoy a night at home watching a movie. I also really enjoy seeing concerts and my law firm has a suite at the Staples Center that has allowed me to see dozens of concerts there over the past ten years.

In fact, one of my big dating weaknesses is that I don't drink wine (or eat sushi), which are big passions in LA. I grew up in Marin County, just a stone's throw from San Francisco. The middle child in a family with seven kids. My mother was the most wonderful woman I ever knew. She was born and raised in Mexico City and at age 16 came to LA for college at Mount St. Mary's. She met my dad, a terrific guy, at a dance at UCLA and after a long distance courtship they married and raised our family. Dad is of Irish and Dutch descent, born in Idaho, and a WWII vet (with a Purple Heart and Bronze Star to show for it!). The secret to their long and happy marriage: their faith (both Catholic), their humor, their deep passion for life and their devotion to each other and to their children. They never went to bed mad and they did not allow their life together to get boring. I learned a great deal from the two of them and their great example. Why am I talking about my folks? Because where I came from tells you alot about who I am. In many ways, I am a lucky man. Now I am ready to be lucky in love too.
I am blessed with a smart, funny and unceasingly entertaining 13 year old son, Chris. He lives with me half of the time (wish it was always). As Dr. Laura would say, I am my son's dad. My marriage did not last, but I will never regret having my boy who is my horizon.
I am a trial attorney and partner in a downtown LA lawfirm (please don't hold it against me....:) As a result, I appreciate truthfulness, the ability to communicate and hard work and ambition. That being said, I have learned to keep my priorities straight. My loved ones come first.
