But as we parked at the restaurant I fumbled trying to reach the backseat of my Celica, retrieve the Club, and put it on the steering wheel. She could have bailed out of my car and been halfway to the restaurant by the time I finally secured the Club on my steering wheel, but she didn’t do that. Unbelievably she sat in the passenger seat, looking for something in her purse. As I kept fumbling and bumbling she kept sitting and looking, and stalling.
Finally I was able to lock the steering wheel, get out, run around the car and open the passenger door for her. She had the patience.
No longer a mechanical engineer, I am now trained as a pastor. I am currently working in retail as it affords me the time to walk with the Lord in searching for the church where I would be called. The woman I seek does not have to play the piano or teach Sunday School, but I am looking for a Christian woman.
