Date men and women from Woodbridge, United States. I'm a hard working, independent, single mom with two great kids ages 18 and 14. Between the kids and my terrific job, there's not much time for "me" but there are times when they are with their dad that I can get out and do something. I have no problem going places alone but after 5 years of being single, it would be nice to have a little companionship. I'm not looking for that "head over heals" in love thing; more like someone to hang out with, go to dinner, movies, Angels games, concerts, Vegas, etc. I'm very content with my life and am in a good place physically and emotionally. Working out and staying as healthy as possible are very important to me and it would be nice if that were a shared value. I'm not out to transform, heal or fix anyone - that's something you have to do for yourself. I admire someone with a quiet confidence and intelligence who can hold his own in a conversation and has a good sense of humor. My family is very important to me; my twin sister and her family and my parents all live in Irvine and we get together at least monthly. I am Jewish and find it comforting but don't feel I need to attend services on a regular basis. I pray in my own time and place. My children have also been raised as Jews and we belong to a Havurah (group of families with like interests) that we spend a good deal of time with. The kids and I try to spend time volunteering which I feel is very important. Nothing is more gratifying or gives you more perspective than helping others less fortunate than yourself. I guess I'd like to meet someone who shares my values as that helps form a stronger bond for friendship and love. I'm interested in the world around me and like to talk about news, both local and global. I live within or below my means and don't have expensive tastes or habits. I've found material things don't bring you happiness; it's the experiences, friendships and time I spend with others that fulfills me.
