Those words almost brought tears to my eyes and reinforced all I could want to hear from my 13 yrs old niece who lives so far away. I'm strong and independent and know what I like and I'm someone who takes charge in situations that others may avoid. I'm a helper and have no problem with owning it and frankly feel grateful that I've been able to make many of my personal characteristics fit into a successful career. I'm not materialistic but I'm very focused on substance and quality. I believe that attitude and perspective are the basic ingredients that support my life and I always try to remember that.
