As a result, I find I have more time to enjoy my other interests in the wild outdoors, and discovery. When I can, I enjoy scuba diving, camping by a mountain stream or the ocean, or rock climbing (the easy stuff). Exploring tidal pools or just listening to the pounding surf, brings me great pleasure. I enjoy tinkering around the house and fixing things, and sometimes they even work after I’m done with them. I’m not half bad when it comes to square dancing, but watch your toes if it is some other forms of dancing. Pets have always been members of my family, along with the chaos and responsibility they bring. I love to laugh, especially at myself and the situation I find myself in.
I dive in both warm and cold marine environments, which has allowed me to visit some spectacular locations (Belize, Fiji, Caymans, and Monterey). I would want a future partner to enjoy this sport too, and accompany me as a dive buddy to additional local and exotic locations.
I look forward to sharing the warmth of a campfire, snuggled in blankets and each others arms, sipping some wine or hot coco and absorbing in all the sight and sounds around us and our quite conversations, or the chill in the morning as we watch the sun creep up into the sky and we embark on a the day of exploring and discovery, absorbing in all of nature around us and each other.
I also relish in the prospect of sharing the daily routine of life, the frustrations of keeping a house and a job or putting up with a daily commute. But sprinkled on top of all of that chaos would be the warmth and laughter of a loving relationship, and partner to grow and grow old with.

I eat healthy most of the time but will also enjoy savoring a special dessert with you (and sometimes without you) on occasion! I've been a work-a-holic for most of my life, so lately, I have been very diligent in finding more balance to enjoy life to its fullest. I have been the CFO of a few publicly traded companies and tech start ups that have demanded much of my time, but I'm now making time to see more of the world and be with people who are special in my life. I'm a creature of logic, and I use my intellect to guide me. I don't subscribe to the conventional wisdom, and I don't believe what the experts say, just because they say it. I am not afraid to speak up for what I believe is right, and justice is important to me. I am not stuck up, however. I will kindly listen to the opinions of others, and change my mind easily if presented with evidence that I am wrong. Sometimes I will be the most dressed-up guy in the room; at other times the most casual. I might go to bed at 9 pm or stay up until 2 am; anything goes. And I may decide to go on a trip to the far reaches of the world, on the spur of the moment.
So, what are the things that are really important in my life? My two daughters, of course. (They are grown and no longer live with me.) Music is a really big thing. I have been a "rock & roller" from way back, but any music will do. Travel & photography is a big one, and I plan on doing a lot more of that in the future. I have been married and divorced once. That marriage was filled with drama, and I don't want tension like that in my life again. Everyone who knows me will tell you that the "real me" is very calm, and that I tend to be calming to those around me. My goal is to find a kind and like-minded lady who is also relaxed, and doesn't obsess over the little things; someone who is "clicked into" what is really important in life; and someone whom I can take care of and who will take care of me.
In summary, I have always been a bit of a rebel, a little "off the wall," and enjoy doing crazy things, going to unusual places, or simply doing something new. On the other hand, I am well-established and confident in my position, both personally and professionally. I am a dentist with my own practice, but the times I live for, are away from my work. I consider myself well-spoken and appreciate the company of a woman who is likewise capable of conversation on a variety of subjects, and interested in the news of the day. I have a tender, affectionate, and nurturing side as well, and would appreciate the same in a partner. I am also a man of caring, honesty, and integrity, and seek a lady who values those traits.
