My name is Shannyn... I'd say I have a definite 'can't keep me down' attitude about life in general. I'm skeptical about this online thing to say the least but crazy things happen all the time, right.

I know that I want to meet a genuinely good person, someone who is actually looking for something tangible. I'm not looking for a one nighter but I'm definitely not looking to go rushing into a relationship. I have a pretty busy schedule which is why I'm here. I would really just like to meet someone cool that I click with, someone who's down to hang out and go have some fun. Where it goes from there I'm not worried about right now. it'll figure itself out if there's chemistry.
I'm a mom, and I know it sounds biased but she really is one of the greatest kids. She's 13 going on 30 and sometimes I question who's smarter. Who plays 5 instruments and teaches themself Japanese at 13?? She's with me every other day so i have time to myself too. It's an excellent balance of parenting and single hood :)
I have a great career in a field I am very passionate about. I always wanted to save the world as a kid, I kinda feel like I'm at least trying :) I also moonlight at a great little bar one night a week to keep myself young.
I love being outside and I go hiking all the time with my dog. I love sailing and kayaking and laying on a beach. One of these days I'll learn to surf. I love playing out in the desert, put me on a quad and I'll entertain myself for hours. I play softball through work and try to get to the gym at least 3x a week. Being active is very important to me, getting fat seems to be one of the few things that come easy as you age. I work very hard to make sure I stay fit and I am attracted to the same. Man boobs are definitely a turn off...
I love to travel and I'm about ready for a vacation.
Overall I'm just a chill girl, always down to drink a beer and shoot some pool. I appreciate a good glass of wine and i love new concoctions that involve whiskey. I would describe myself as a generous and loving person who would do anything for her friends and family. I've got a big heart, a quick wit and an intelligent mind. I've been told, I am...the triple threat ;)
