Date a soulmate from California, United States. Please forgive me for being slightly long-winded...
I'm very independent and have been separated for a long time now (2 years)... pending divorce paperwork (the extensive separation was due to issues outside of the marriage). The time alone and single has helped me to find myself again. I'm a genuine person with an extremely open mind. I'm kindhearted and try to find the good in everyone. I was born and raised in the Midwest and have very much maintained those values. (That and I still believe hockey is the only sport there truly is.) I will respond to every message I receive, even if just to say I'm not interested as I firmly believe it's the polite thing to do... blame my parents for raising me right, I suppose.
• My solitude is riding motorcycles... it's a freedom I cannot find anywhere else. I gave up my motorcycle to get back on my feet once I was on my own... but, I will ride again. I know it.
• My passion is dance... and has been for nearly 30 years now.
• My love is my pets... they are my children (two Boxer/Pits and one cat).
• My life is my nephew... he is my world... and my sister is my best friend. I have a very close family, though we're spread out all over the country. I believe family is the backbone of who we are as people.
• My release is ink... I love tattoos and have 9 so far (with a few more to come). Each one represents something about me and my life or an aspect of my life. All are personal and all are kept hidden most of the time... you wouldn't even know I have them if you saw me walking down the street.
I'm interested in meeting a guy who likes conversation... who isn't afraid to express his opinions, but is open minded enough to accept others. A guy who recognizes that life is too short to waste time on the things that will later just be insignificant. Family is important. Friendships are important. Goals & dreams are important.
