Date a woman from Brentwood, United States. Hi, my name is Cody. :) I'm originally from outside of Milwaukee. I went to Spain back in 97 to go on a year-long study abroad program, fell in love with it, and ended up staying there for 13 years. (Oh, I spent a year in London, too.) I moved out to CA in Sept. to be closer to my family. I didn?t want to leave Spain, but our parents aren?t getting any younger, right? I guess, I didn?t want to have any regrets down the road. :)
Ok, so about me--
-I looove going to the beach, so if you ever want to go, I'm up for it.
-I'm really outgoing, and have never had a problem making friends or meeting guys, but I think we are all curious, so we'll see how it goes. :)
-I love cocktail lounges and wine bars. An occasional club/sports bar/dive bar can be fun, too. :-) I hope you can be just as flexible.
-I love being the first one up in the morning and enjoying that first cup of coffee while it is still quiet out. (not a big tea person) Would you happen to know of any quaint cafes that make you feel like you are in Europe? I know of one on Wilshire in SM, but that's about it.
-I love to laugh at myself and, yes, I love to laugh at others while "people watching." Why do people go grocery shopping in their PJs?? :-))
-I adore my family. My friends often referred to us as "The Cleavers." :-) My parents gave me a childhood that most kids could only dream of. Their weekends were spent cheering me on at my sporting events-- and if I happened to have a weekend off, they would find other ways to have some quality time together. (art and historical museums, picnics, long hikes in the woods, gardening, BBQs...)
-My brother, who is two years older, is still my idol and best friend. :-) Looking back, I am sooo thankful they made sitting down at the table as a family, for breakfast and dinner, such a priority. That is where a family becomes "a family." :-)
I hope the part about being "divorced" doesn't scare you away from sending me a message. I'm not a conflictive person, I just had bad luck marrying a Spaniard. Unfortunately, he had personal problems that he could not overcome, even with my loving support.

Fitness is my career, and a huge part of my life. I'm not gonna lie - if you're a CrossFitter too, you've already got major bonus points in my book, but it's not mandatory. However, someone that puts effort into their health and fitness and takes care of them self is a must.
I love to travel, whether it's a big vacation or a quick weekend trip. And, I feel like there are still so many places in CA that I have not yet explored. I'm looking for a travel companion.
My friends would say I'm really good at organizing things, getting groups of people together, and planning things........but I'd love to share these responsibilities.
