Now that I'm here (for about a year now), it's the food that gets me. In New Hampshire, you just don't understand what people see in an avocado. This isn't to say that I'm not still excited about the scenery. In New York, I could rock-climb in a big indoor facility but in SD, I can climb with the ocean at my back.

Some specifics. I work as a software engineer for a great company downtown, I try to go out and dance West Coast Swing / Ballroom at least one night a week, and I enjoy finding a random TV show or movie on Netflix on a free evening. I'm a Jazz piano player, although I haven't performed in quite some time, and I used to work as a musical director for theaters in New Hampshire and up-state New York (and I'm looking to get back into it).

I'm on here because I'm sick of meeting the same women that roam around bars. It's hard to get away from it because of my profession, so I'm trying this. I also have very limited time away from work. I'm a very strong willed person and love even stronger willed women. I love family settings because they're some of the most honest people around.
