By working for a hotel I enjoy going on vacation and doing short trips to cities all over. Unfortunately I have had to do so by myself and I am ready to have someone I can share those kind of things with. I am a passionate sports follower of almost every sport. I listen to all kinds of music but one genre especially which is techno, blame that on my german roots. There are a few german traits that stuck with me over the years that make me a little more unique, which is great. Some traits make it harder to work with some people though. I can not stand people that are late to anything and everything. Laziness is another thorn in my side, especially in the work place.
On a brighter note, I volunteer every summer for a week in a muscular dystrophy and would never let anything get in the way of that. I have met some of the down to earth best people you can imagine and I am thankful to be introduced to that experience by my best friend, who unfortunantely has muscular dystrophy.

I spent several wonderful years in northern Michigan before moving to the bay area, where I graduated from high school. I then studied physics at Berkeley and earned my PhD at UC Santa Barbara.
