The most pristine thing I've seen is a child's curiosity. I hope I'll always have that spark of imagination in me. And while learning all these things is rewarding in of itself, I'd very much like to share and explore all these ideas with someone special to me.
I'm very optimistic and I know how to be happy. I enjoy spending time experiencing stories, either through books, movies or computer games. Computer games have always been my favorite because there's the additional element of interaction and challenge. I also like music. I've been playing piano and singing in chorus for a long time. These days I'm mostly a spectator, but this may change in the future. And when I want to just be in the moment I like to go out for a bike ride, go on a hike or watch stars in the backyard.
I'm also very respectful and willing to help. I've always liked tutoring and I like contributing to open source projects in the communities I'm engaged with. I'm very collected and you can be sure I'll be there for you, but I also know when to let go and just have fun. A little dirt never hurt anyone. ;)

I don't make myself out to be something I'm not. I try to live a positive/healthy life and try my best to help others in need. I'm the type of guy who can adapt to whatever the scene might be. I love to travel when the opportunity presents itself. I use to travel a lot for my previous job spending time in awesome cities and meeting some cool people from the East Coast to the West Coast (I enjoy making new friends). However, with the constant traveling its really hard to maintain a steady relationship when your always out of town.

My normal wardrobe includes a wetsuit, helmets, sometimes body-armor for my passion of mountain biking, surfing and snowboarding. I enjoy Farmers Market, The Grove, Third Street Promenade, coffee shops, italian Deli's and specialty grocery stores, (Impulse buyer of breads, Prosciutto, cheese, pate and wines). When relaxing at home, I love making pizza from scratch, BBQ and horderves, tasting wine while Lounging in the backyard (relaxing is a serious sport). Family is always first, which includes my moms dog.
That being said, I will not judge anyone for what they think. I love my freedom and enjoy my time alone, but enjoy the idea of having someone to escape with and forget about everything else. I been described as a geek, dork, nerd jock and weird. I believe in silliness, do we share this quality? I love to laugh have fun and be spontaneous, but I also enjoy and take comfort in my daily routine. I think pretty realistically but am not afraid to dream big. As noted in my profile, I've been divorced for 16 years and currently have three sons in college with a daughter having graduated with her masters, married and raising three young girls. Naturally I feel blessed to have experienced life as in a traditional household as a father, husband, and thus I have no desire to repeat that process.
An enjoyment of the outdoors and my background in sports and athletics naturally requires that my partner is comfortable with someone who generally thrives on activity. When I'm at home alone, I divide my time to include family and dear friends, the television, a good workout, a wide variety of music, movies and the computer. In my free time I like to work with kids at a catholic grade school in a low income section of Los Angeles. I want to spend more time teaching these kids how to set and achieve goals. Because of their economic situation, my goal is to expose these kids to people, careers, places and experiences they would not normally encounter. I would like to expand these kids sphere of availability. By exposing these young people to a world that might not normally see, they well be able to dream about and achieve goals capable of enriching their lives for themselves and their families and truly living the American dream.

Meet a man from California, United States. About me – I’m very fit and take care of my body by eating correctly and working out. I like the outdoors, going to movies, traveling (recent trips have been to Mammoth, Santa Barbara wine country, Big Bear, San Francisco, and Seattle – one of my favorite spots is Pike’s Market). I have a few hobbies, one of which is restoring my California Craftsman properties.
