Being an engineer in the Navy not only allows me to advance my technical skills as a sailor, but also as a civilian offering me the opportunity to work for companies such as lockheed martin, boeing, general electric, and other major companies as well. My friends describe me as loyal, caring, trustworthy, and down to earth. I can be shy at first, but when I get to know someone I open up completely. Throughout my life, I have been through many struggles, but I have accomplished a lot of things that I thought would never happen. I still continue to accomplish my goals in life through motivation and a positive attitude. My biggest accomplishment was making it through bootcamp because it was the longest point in time where I was away from family with minimal lines of communication. Meet a guy from California, United States. ME: I am 24 years old, i was born in Huntington Park, CA and grew up in this little city called Bell Gardens. I moved down to San Diego about 2 years ago and i love it. I am a fun, loving, and easy-going guy just looking to have fun. I LOVE to cook, play guitar, laugh, smile, cuddle, and give hugs. My closest friends would describe me as being a smart ass, sarcastic, funny, passionate, fiercely loyal, driven, motivated, respectful, goal-oriented, caring, and confident. I am a smart ass by nature, but, I do know how to control it with the right people. I love my family and would do absolutely anything for them. I drive up to see my mom every chance I get. My ultimate goal in life is to become a Firefighter/Paramedic. I was a volunteer Firefighter for 7 years while i was living in Bell Gardens. I have experienced enough things in my life that have made me mature at such an early age. Because of this, I am who I am today. I have learned how to set goals for myself (both short term and long term) and do everything in my power to get there. I think I have been doing a pretty good job so far!
I am what people consider to be straight edge (I don't think I am), which means i don't drink, smoke, do drugs, or have any weird vices ( but am not opposed to going to a bar once in a while to hang out). Living life to the fullest is what I'm all about (Yes, there is a reason why I don't drink and if you decide to get to know me, ill share it). I am sarcastic beyond what should be normal, and I thank the fire department for that. But if you are willing to look beyond that, i know that we can have a lot of fun together.
I was a cooking teacher for 3 years at my old high school and I absolutely loved it! I love to teach people and that was a great way for me to do 2 things that I love!

I would rather spend a night at home cooking you dinner, and then watching a movie, as opposed to going out to eat (but i do enjoy a nice dinner or lunch out once in a while). I do wear my heart on my sleeve, and I kind of wish that more people would do so.

After i graduated from Cal State Northridge, i came down here to join them full time. It was sad to leave my friends ive known since elementary school, and the house that i lived in for 19 years, but what it was time to begin a new journey. Anyways life is good, and im currently enjoying it in SD. Pretty much to sum up myself, Im always looking to meet people, I work in a social industry, and for the last couple years i have just been working which unfortunetly this doesnt leave much time for dating so i figured id give match a shot.
love what i do in the restaurant bussiness, its a true passion for me. My dad has been doing it for 45 years, or so and has passed his knowledge onto me and my bro. Ive always been a easy going and fun loving guy. Im all about having good times, and being around good people. However, I just havnt been lucky enough to find the right girl. Someone who has a good family background, morals, and is looking to be a success in life. Family is number one for me, always has been, and that is why i do what i do now. BTW i LOVE sports, lakers are my favorite team, originally i went to school to become a sports broadcaster but for right now i'm doing what i believe is best for me and my family. As far as life goes, i'm just taking it one step at a time.
