I've taught ESL (English as a second language) in Bosnia; worked in an orphanage in Nepal; mentored battered women in Serbia and helped build a library in a literacy center in Africa, to name a few. I tell you this because I want you to see the compassionate side of me. Helping people just makes me happy! I don't expect my mate to have traveled to third-world countries, but hope he'll understand that it's an important part of what has made me who I am today.
