Meet someone special from United States. I am a loving, intelligent, creative Woman, true to the man I am with. I treasure my solitude, and have a strong sense of independence, yet I've missed being in love. I'm educated (looking for the same) and have worked intensely in my life, as a Professor and Artist. Now retired, I am at the phase of my life where I'm looking to incorporate as much pleasure & joy as possible. This often presents itself in the form of travel, a good dinner party (hosting or attending), a long walk on the beach with the dogs, a museum opening, coffee/tea or a good glass of wine with a good friend & intelligent conversation.

I have been an Artist all my life, with creativity being greatly valued. I "live & think like an Artist," which might have certain quirks about it. I relish intelligent, esthetic conversations, perspectives & PLAY. This intelligent, sensitive & loving man I am seeking would need to like dogs, travel, cooking & dining out...walks in Nature, a good movie & ART. He would be optimistic with a tendency towards Liberal thinking - a Loyal, True, Trusted Friend. I would genuinely love one last unspoiled, deep relationship in this beautiful life we traverse - together. I find joy in being close, but need my "alone time" & I respect that in others. I enjoy a sense of adventure; perhaps taking off in the spur of the moment inspired by an instantaneous good idea. NO SMOKING.
I love walking my 2 dogs on the beach or in the hills, creek-side or desert. I'm in & out of town often, that Gypsy in me, visiting friends all over. I like to get to the CITY occasionally, but also spend deep, quality time in NATURE. I'm retired from a long teaching career at a small university just north of San Francisco, so my time is mine. More recently, I have retired from my art career culminating with a large Retrospective Exhibition. In tandem, I self-published a limited edition, 100 page artist book, which represents my life's work, at least to this point. NOW I'm "cleared" & ready for what's next??? Remaining OPEN, without judgment or expectation, it would be quite nice for this to include a true, loving relationship – savoring the Slow Dance. I haven't committed to a geographic spot just yet - keeping this open has been a bit of a trick. There are many places in So. Cal. I like living. This could be misleading; I am grounded, financially secure, and my own person. I’m hoping location won't be a limitation. Geography can be resolved; it's the relationship that's of the greatest importance.
I am genuine in this search and not a serial dater. Having evolved over a lifetime, itРІР‚в„ўs interesting to meet people at this phase of life. IРІР‚в„ўm open, but not looking for someone younger. For us ALL, life has presented many ups & downs, opportunities to evolve, learn & go forward. I wouldn't pretend to project what a person I would meet has achieved in a life-time, or how that might blend with who I am now, but it would most likely be a higher connection if there was an interest in the arts & some out-of-the-box free thinking.
